قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجCompany Description Our organization operates as a Cambridge English Exam Preparation Centre (CELA Centre) and has been officially registered with the British Council, Colombo, Sri Lanka, as an Authorized Exam Centre for the University of Cambridge Examinations since September 3rd, 2015. We specialize in preparing students, starting from the age of five, for a wide range of Cambridge English Exams. The centre offers structured programs, comprehensive guidance, and focused training to help learners build strong English language skills and achieve excellent exam results. Team members work in a supportive academic environment that values educational quality, learner progress, and professional development.Role Description The Branch Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Matugama. This role is responsible for the overall management of the branch, including supervising staff, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring that exam preparation programs are delivered effectively and in line with Cambridge and British Council requirements. The Branch Manager will manage scheduling, student enrollment, and resource allocation, while maintaining accurate records and reports related to classes, examinations, and centre performance. The role includes engaging with parents and students, addressing inquiries, and supporting a positive learning environment, as well as implementing local marketing activities to increase enrolments. The Branch Manager will collaborate with senior leadership to meet performance targets, uphold quality standards, and support continuous improvement of teaching and administrative processes.QualificationsStrong leadership and people management skills, with experience supervising teams in an educational or service-oriented environment.Solid organizational and administrative skills, including scheduling, record-keeping, and process coordination.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, staff, and external partners.Basic financial and operational management skills, such as monitoring budgets, managing resources, and meeting performance targets.Experience in education, language training, or exam preparation centres is highly beneficial.Proficiency in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.Bachelor’s degree in Education, Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.Ability to work on-site in Matugama, with flexibility to support classes and operations during peak times.
