ABOUT NAIJA LIQUORNaija Liquor is one of Nigeria’s fastest-growing liquor wholesale, retail and e-commerce businesses. We serve customers through our online store and physical retail locations in Ikeja and Magodo, Lagos.We are building more than a liquor store. Our ambition is to create one of Nigeria’s most recognisable, culturally relevant and trusted drinks retail brands—a brand customers want to buy from, talk about, share and recommend.As we enter our next stage of growth, we are looking for a highly creative, commercially minded and analytical Brand & Digital Marketing Manager to lead our consumer-facing marketing.This is not simply a social media management role.THE ROLEThe Brand & Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for growing Naija Liquor’s brand visibility, digital presence, customer engagement, partnerships, customer retention and marketing-led revenue.You will own our social media and content strategy while leading campaigns, creator relationships, influencer collaborations, user-generated content, brand partnerships, CRM initiatives and other growth opportunities.We are looking for someone who can create strong ideas and drive their execution.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Develop and execute brand and marketing strategies aligned with commercial objectives.• Own Naija Liquor’s presence across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and other relevant platforms.• Build and manage the content calendar, creative direction, recurring content formats, captions and calls-to-action.• Brief retail staff and other team members on the raw video and photography needed for campaigns.• Develop strategies that increase organic comments, shares, mentions, recommendations and customer participation.• Build relationships with creators, influencers, lifestyle personalities, DJs, celebrities and culturally relevant communities.• Identify and negotiate paid, gifted, barter and organic collaborations.• Develop initiatives that encourage customer reviews, unboxing videos, product photographs, celebration content and other forms of UGC.• Proactively develop partnerships with drinks brands, distributors, restaurants, hotels, clubs, event organisers, entertainment companies and complementary consumer brands.• Create and execute marketing campaigns around products, seasonal occasions, celebrations, sporting events and Nigerian cultural moments.• Develop customer retention, reactivation, segmentation, loyalty, cross-selling and upselling initiatives.• Create relevant WhatsApp, email and other customer marketing campaigns.• Track audience growth, engagement, customer acquisition, conversions, campaign revenue, repeat purchases, partnership outcomes and return on marketing activity.• Prepare professional proposals, presentations and responses for external partners and corporate enquiries.• Develop tastings, retail activations, creator experiences and other initiatives that bring the Naija Liquor brand to life.WHO WE ARE LOOKING FORYou are likely to succeed in this role if you are:• Highly creative and able to lifestyle, popular culture and consumer behaviour.• Resourceful, persistent, organised and proactive.• Able to identify problems, recommend solutions and take ownership of execution.EXPERIENCE AND SKILLSRelevant experience may include brand marketing, digital marketing, social media, growth marketing, influencer marketing, PR, partnerships, e-commerce, FMCG, entertainment, hospitality, lifestyle or nightlife marketing.Experience within alcohol, FMCG, entertainment, nightlife, hospitality or lifestyle brands is advantageous but not mandatory.Candidates should demonstrate:• Excellent written and spoken English.• Strong creative and strategic thinking.• Strong understanding of social media and digital consumer behaviour.• Good Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets capability.• Understanding of marketing metrics and return on investment.• Strong presentation, relationship-building and negotiation skills.• Ability to write professional communications, proposals and marketing
