Brand Experience Manager
Stitch · Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Apply & track with Apply EdgeYou will own everything Stitch does in the physical world. That means the events we show up at and the ones we create, the dinners and private gatherings where our best conversations with bank executives happen, the gifts we send, the merch our team wears, and the office a prospect walks into for a meeting. We do not do typical sponsorships. A logo on a banner and a booth in a hall is the last resort, not the plan. What we want instead is a person who can look at a conference calendar and a target account list and come up with something the people we sell to will remember: an installation, a curated dinner, a closed-door roundtable, a moment at an event that has nothing to do with the exhibition floor. You will ideate these concepts, sell them internally, negotiate them with venues and organisers, deliver them, prove they worked, and make sure far more people see them than were in the room. The second half of the role is the brand as people physically experience it: what the team wears, what a customer sees when they walk through our door, what arrives in the post after a good meeting. You will work with our design team and agency partners to make all of that feel like one company. Our events are global. You should expect to travel often, across the GCC, MENA, Africa, Southeast Asia and to major fintech events in Europe, the US and Asia, and to be on site for what you build. This is a hands-on role with a real budget and real autonomy, reporting to the Head of Marketing and working directly with Sales and the founders. What you will doOwn the offline calendar. Plan, manage, execute and scale Stitch's full programme of events, sponsorships and activations across our markets and at the major global fintech and banking events. Decide which events matter for which target accounts, what our presence should be, and what we skip.Create concepts, not booths. Ideate and curate unconventional formats: installations and takeovers at major fintech events, executive dinners and breakfasts, invitation-only roundtables, founder-hosted gatherings, co-hosted events with partners and customers, and ideas nobody has tried yet. Every concept should start with a target list of the people we want in the room and a reason they would want to be there.Run the hospitality layer. Own the programme of dinners, private meetings, gifting and hosted experiences that sit around events and around the sales cycle. Build a gifting approach that feels considered and personal rather than corporate, and that stays within compliance for regulated institutions.Amplify everything. An activation that only the attendees see is a missed opportunity. For every event you will plan the amplification alongside the concept: work with fintech and banking influencers, creators and industry voices to bring them into the room and get them talking about it; work with the Demand Generation Manager to put paid budget behind the content before, during and after; and work with the content and automation team so that every activation produces photography, video, social posts and follow-up content that carries on well beyond the day. You are measured on reach and pipeline from the event, not just on the room.Manage vendors and money. Source and manage venues, agencies, production partners, caterers, printers, merch suppliers and influencer partners. Negotiate rates, sponsorship packages, influencer agreements and contracts, and get more out of every dollar than the rate card says. Own the offline budget, forecast it, and report against it.Measure it properly. Set a target and a plan for turning attendees and audience into pipeline before any activation is approved. Track meetings booked, opportunities influenced, cost per opportunity and social reach for each activation, make sure every lead is in HubSpot and with Sales within 24 hours, and produce a post-event review that says what to repeat and what to drop.Build the employee brand. Own merch and internal brand touchpoints for a team across multiple countries: what people wear at events and in the office, welcome kits for new joiners, team gifts and milestones. Work with the design team so that all of it is on brand and something people actually want to use.Design the office experience. Own how Stitch's offices look and feel to a visiting customer: what goes on the walls and where, wayfinding, meeting rooms, the small details in the reception and the meeting itself. Turn a customer visit into a deliberately designed experience from arrival to follow-up, and roll the approach out across locations as we grow. What we are looking for5+ years in B2B events, experiential or brand experience marketing, with at least 2 years running a programme end to end (strategy, budget, vendors, delivery, measurement) rather than supporting one.A portfolio of ideas that were not booths. You can show us activations, dinners, installations or formats you conceived and delivered, and explain what they cost and what they produced. If your best work is a well-run 3x3 stand, this is not the role.Experience amplifying events on social. You have worked with influencers, creators or industry voices to extend an event's reach, and you have partnered with paid and content teams so that an activation performed online as well as in person. You can show the numbers.Taste. You have a strong eye for design, space, hospitality and detail, and you notice when something is slightly off. You can brief a designer or an agency precisely and push back when the work is not good enough.A negotiator. You have negotiated sponsorship packages, venue contracts, vendor and influencer agreements and consistently landed better terms than the first offer. You are comfortable reading a contract and knowing what to change.Commercially minded. You think about the target account list before you think about the venue, and you are comfortable being judged on pipeline influenced, cost per opportunity and reach rather than attendance.Highly organised and calm under pressure. You have run multiple events in parallel across countries and delivered them on time and on budget, and you have a way of working that lets others see where everything stands.Able and willing to travel frequently. Expect to be on the road for a significant part of the year, often internationally and sometimes at short notice, and to be on site for every major activation.Experience in the GCC or wider MENA region, with a working understanding of how business hospitality, protocol and gifting operate across the markets we sell into, and how they differ between, say, Riyadh, Dubai and Cairo. Experience running events in Europe, the US or Asia is a plus.Financial services, fintech or B2B technology background preferred. You should understand who the decision-makers at a bank are and what kind of event they would clear their evening for.English fluency required; Arabic is a strong plus. What you will getA salary above market rate. We pay to hire the best person for this role, not the cheapest, and the offer will reflect that.A clear path to grow. As Stitch expands into new markets, so does the offline programme. You will build this function, then lead it, with compensation that moves with the scope you take on.Full ownership. You own the offline budget and calendar end to end, with real freedom to try formats that have not been done before and a leadership team that would rather be surprised than safe.Direct access to leadership. You will work day to day with the Head of Marketing and directly with the founder and Sales leadership, and you will often be in the room with the customers you bring together.Travel to the world's major fintech events. You will see the industry from the inside, across four continents, and build a network most marketers never get access to.Full employment package in the UAE. Employment visa and work permit sponsorship, comprehensive medical insurance, 30 days of paid annual leave plus UAE public holidays, and end-of-service gratuity, in line with UAE labour law.
