Brand Manager

Black Tie Consultancy is partnering with a leading coffee company in Egypt to hire a Brand Manager. You’ll own the brand from strategy through to the shelf, and you’ll be the person who knows why people choose it.What you’ll be doingOwn the brand strategy, positioning and annual marketing plan for the coffee portfolioLead new product development and launches, from consumer insight to first sale on the shelfManage the brand budget and P&L, including pricing, promotions and marginsBrief and manage creative, media and digital agencies across TV, digital, social and in-storeWork with Sales and Trade Marketing on activation, visibility and promotions across modern and traditional tradeTrack market share, brand health and competitor activity, and turn the findings into actionCoordinate with Supply Chain, R&D and Procurement on forecasting, packaging and launch timelinesGuide and develop junior brand team membersWhat we’re looking for5 to 8 years in brand or marketing management in FMCGProven experience managing coffee brands (roast and ground, instant or ready-to-drink)At least one successful product launch or relaunch to your nameStrong understanding of the Egyptian market, including modern and traditional trade, pricing and consumer habitsExperience managing agencies and marketing budgetsComfortable with retail and market data (Nielsen or similar)Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related fieldFluent in Arabic and EnglishYou’re the right fit if youHave built a coffee brand that people choose over the cheaper optionEnjoy both the creative brief and the sales numbers behind itAre as comfortable in a supermarket aisle as in a strategy meetingFollow a launch through until it sells, not just until it shipsTake ownership and don’t wait to be toldWhat makes this role differentFull ownership of a coffee brand in a category that’s part of everyday life in EgyptDirect access to the Marketing Director and senior leadershipA chance to shape the brand, not just maintain itA well-established company with strong distributionInterested?Send your CV to contact@blacktieconsultancy.com or message us directly.
