Apply & track with Apply EdgeWe are seeking a highly commercial and results-driven Brand Manager – Home & Personal Care to manage and grow our portfolio of household cleaning and personal care products across the UAE market.The portfolio may include laundry detergents, dishwashing products, surface cleaners, disinfectants, toilet cleaners, air care, hygiene products, and other household cleaning solutions.This is a commercially focused brand management role with significant responsibility for sales growth, retail distribution, promotions, pricing, market execution, key account support, consumer marketing, and category performance.The Brand Manager will work very closely with the Sales team to ensure that brand strategies translate directly into stronger distribution, higher sales, better shelf presence, successful promotions, and increased market share.The ideal candidate combines strong FMCG marketing knowledge with a highly commercial mindset and understands how to grow consumer brands through modern trade, wholesale, e-commerce, and other distribution channels.Key ResponsibilitiesSales Growth & Commercial PerformanceTake ownership of the commercial performance of assigned brands and categories.Develop strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.Work closely with the Sales Manager and Key Account teams to identify opportunities for revenue growth.Analyze sales performance by:RetailerSKUCategoryChannelRegionPromotionIdentify underperforming accounts and develop corrective action plans.Identify opportunities to increase sales volume, distribution, shelf space, and market penetration.Support sales teams with commercial arguments, presentations, competitor intelligence, and category insights.Regularly review sell-in and sell-out performance with the commercial team.Modern Trade & Key Account SupportWork closely with Key Account Managers handling major supermarket and hypermarket chains.Participate in key retailer meetings and commercial reviews when required.Support negotiations around:Annual agreementsPromotionsNew listingsAdditional shelf spaceSecondary displaysGondola endsVisibility agreementsSeasonal campaignsDevelop retailer-specific growth plans for strategic accounts.Identify opportunities to expand the number of SKUs listed within existing accounts.Support the Sales team in preparing annual joint business plans with major retailers.Monitor retailer performance and recommend actions to increase account profitability.Distribution ExpansionDrive expansion of product availability across modern trade, traditional trade, wholesale, e-commerce, and other relevant channels.Identify distribution gaps by retailer, region, and SKU.Work with Sales teams to increase numeric and weighted distribution.Develop priorities for expanding high-performing products into additional stores and channels.Monitor store-level availability and identify lost sales caused by distribution gaps or out-of-stock situations.Support expansion into new retail chains and customer groups.Retail Execution & Field ManagementConduct frequent market visits to understand actual execution at store than simply discounting products.Pricing & Competitive PositioningContinuously monitor competitor pricing across major retailers.Recommend pricing strategies based on:Market positionCompetitor online sales performance.Monitor product availability, pricing, promotions, and competitor activity across online platforms.Develop online promotions and bundles.Identify opportunities for sponsored visibility and platform campaigns.Track online sales by SKU and platform.Ensure top-selling products remain consistently available online.Sales Forecasting & Demand CoordinationWork with Sales and Demand Planning to develop realistic forecasts.Review historical sales, promotions, seasonality, and planned activities.Ensure sufficient stock availability for major promotions and campaigns.Identify potential slow-moving inventory and develop commercial plans to accelerate sell-through.Support inventory reduction initiatives through targeted sales programs.Minimize lost sales caused by poor forecasting or stock availability.Marketing & Consumer CampaignsDevelop marketing activities that directly support sales growth and consumer demand.Coordinate campaigns across digital, social media, retail, influencer, and activation channels.Develop campaigns around major retail and seasonal periods.Ensure marketing investments support priority SKUs, retailers, and commercial objectives.Work with Digital Marketing teams to drive consumers toward retail and e-commerce purchase points.Sales Team SupportAct as a strong commercial partner to the Sales organization.Prepare sales presentations, category reviews, competitor comparisons, and retailer proposals.Provide Sales Representatives and Key Account Managers with clear product and campaign information.Conduct product and category training for Sales and Merchandising teams.Participate in regular sales meetings and performance reviews.Help translate market insights into actionable field sales priorities.Commercial Analysis & ReportingPrepare weekly and monthly reports covering:Sales vs. targetSell-in and sell-outAccount performanceSKU performanceDistributionPromotional performanceMarket shareCompetitor activityRetail executionIdentify commercial risks and opportunities early.Present recommendations and action plans to senior management.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Sales, or related field.5–8 years of FMCG experience in Brand Management, Trade Marketing, Category Management, or Commercial Management.Experience within detergents, home care, household cleaning, hygiene, personal care, or similar FMCG categories is strongly preferred.Strong experience working with modern trade retailers and distributors.Strong understanding of retail promotions, pricing, margins, and commercial negotiations.Experience analyzing sell-in, sell-out, distribution, and promotional performance.Strong understanding of supermarket and hypermarket operations.Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, reporting, and analytical skills.Strong commercial and numerical mindset.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Comfortable spending significant time in the market and visiting retail stores, rather than operating only from the office.Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.Ideal Candidate ProfileWe are looking for someone who thinks like a Brand Manager and a Sales
