THE NEXT GENERATION OF VEGETABLES WON'T BREED ITSELF.It will take deep science. Smarter decisions. Better data. And breeders who are willing to rethink what's possible. What if your expertise in genetics could help shape the next generation of market-leading vegetable varieties? What if your breeding decisions were strengthened by genomics, genomic selection, AI-enabled analytics and digital phenotyping? And what if you could take those scientific insights beyond the field and the lab — translating them into products that create real value for farmers and customers? That's the opportunity we're putting on the table. At East-West Seed, we're looking for a Breeder who brings together three essential strengths:THE SCIENTISTDeep expertise in plant breeding, genetics, quantitative genetics and line development. Someone who understands the science behind genetic gain and knows how to turn it into superior germplasm.THE INNOVATORSomeone who looks beyond conventional breeding approaches. Who embraces genomics, genomic selection, modern phenotyping and data-driven tools to improve selection accuracy and accelerate breeding progress.THE BUSINESS-MINDED BREEDERSomeone who connects breeding decisions with market needs. Who can turn complex scientific insights into a compelling product story, influence stakeholders across R&D and Marketing, and independently drive a breeding pipeline from crossing to commercial success.Because scientific excellence matters. But so does knowing which products to advance, which opportunities to pursue and how to turn superior genetics into market impact. We're looking for someone who doesn't just manage a breeding program — but takes ownership of what it delivers. If you have at least 5 years of vegetable breeding experience, a strong track record of delivering commercially successful varieties, and the curiosity to explore what comes next, we'd love to hear from you.Role: Breeder
