Brewery Manager

Role Description The Brewery Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Indian Queens. It’s responsible for overseeing all aspects of brewery operations. Day-to-day tasks include managing production schedules, coordinating brewing activities, and ensuring consistent quality and safety standards are met. The role involves supervising brewery staff, optimizing processes, managing inventory of raw materials and finished products, and maintaining equipment. The Brewery Manager will also collaborate with leadership on product development, cost control, and operational improvements, while supporting compliance with regulatory and health and safety requirements. This position requires hands-on involvement on the brewery floor and clear communication with internal teams and external partners.Qualifications Strong brewery operations skills, including production planning, process oversight, and quality control in a brewing or beverage manufacturing environment.Experience managing teams, with the ability to lead, train, and motivate staff in a fast-paced, hands-on setting.Knowledge of brewing techniques, ingredients, equipment maintenance, and health and safety standards relevant to brewery operations.Competence in inventory management, basic budgeting, and cost control to support efficient and profitable production.Effective communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to document procedures and maintain records.Prior experience in the brewing, beverage, or hospitality industry is highly beneficial.Relevant technical or vocational training in brewing, food science, or related fields is an advantage; equivalent practical experience will be considered.Ability to work on-site in Truro and perform the physical tasks associated with brewery operations.
