Bridal Master Cutter & Pattern Maker

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Head of Bridal Production & Master Tailor to oversee our high-end bridal dressmaking, pattern making, and garment construction operations. This role combines expert pattern cutting and advanced bridal construction (including corsetry and boning) with team leadership and client consultations for custom bridal orders.Key ResponsibilitiesPattern Making & Cutting: Create, cut, and adjust precise patterns tailored specifically for high-end bridal gowns and couture evening wear.Production & Tailoring Lead: Oversee full dressmaking execution, including precision sewing, boning, corsetry, and final adjustments.Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of junior tailors and cutters, ensuring craftsmanship meets high-fashion couture standards.Client Consultation: Guide clients through custom order consultations, advising on fit, garment construction, fabric selection, and design options.Quality & Fitting Control: Ensure every gown meets exact design specifications and pristine finishing standards.Key Qualifications & RequirementsExperience: Minimum 10–15 years of hands-on experience in haute couture pattern making, cutting, and tailoring, with a primary focus on bridal gowns and high-end evening wear. Exceptional portfolio demonstrating high-fashion bridal craftsmanship may be considered in lieu of year requirements.Technical Mastery: Expertise in structural bridal techniques, including corsetry, boning, drape work, and delicate fabric handling.Languages: Professional fluency in English is required to manage client consultations and team communications effectively.Couture Background: Proven background in haute couture or luxury bespoke bridal production is required.
