At Applus+ we foster a culture of integrity, technical leadership, and continuous professional development.About the RoleThis is a four-months contract position that involves bridge or structural inspection work, including visual inspection, defect mapping, condition rating, and photographic reporting, in line with relevant standards and procedures.ResponsibilitiesPerform visual inspection of bridges or structural assets.Conduct defect mapping and condition rating.Prepare photographic reporting of inspection findings.Apply AASHTO/FHWA bridge inspection procedures during inspections.Support inspections of box-girder, bearing and expansion-joint structures (where applicable).RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering4 years of relevant bridge or structural inspection experienceExperience in visual inspection, defect mapping, condition rating and photographic reportingFamiliarity with AASHTO/FHWA bridge inspection proceduresPreferred SkillsExperience in box-girder, bearing and expansion-joint inspectionsUAE experience and valid UAE driving licenseFHWA-NHI-130101 certification
