Safe Pair of Hands Technology is a broadcast and engineering company supporting clients all over the UK.We have some amazing customers who we work really closely with, from national radio broadcasters, to record companies, events businesses and charities.As we approach our 10th anniversary, we’re looking to employ a broadcast and IT engineer to join our team. This role will be home based but you will be expected to visit our customers, who are mainly based in London. Travel expenses will be covered.Once established in to the team you may be asked to cover on-call, this would be on an overtime basis.What we’d like you to do:Diagnosing and resolving faults quickly to minimise disruption to customers.Supporting the sales team to ensure quotations are delivered accurately and quickly.Supporting and maintaining broadcast and IT infrastructure.Visiting customers, which may require visiting their homes.Carrying out preventative maintenance, testing and system health checks.Producing and maintaining technical documentation..Working with suppliers to resolve issues.What we’re looking for:Essential SkillsSomeone who is as happy spending time with customers, as helping the team, including supporting the sales team to validate technical specifications on quotations.Experience of RCS products like Zetta and gSelector.Experience with Microsoft 365.Experience with Cisco products.Experience with Telos products like Axia.Knowing how to prioritise issues across various customers while delivering excellent communication skills.Desirable SkillsExperience of analogue audio engineering.Experience with UniFi.Experience with Lawo.Knowledge of broadcast video.Knowledge of AV automation systems.Knowledge of DMX lighting systems.What you’ll get from us:A good salary with 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays.The opportunity to learn from our experienced management team, with over 120 years of combined experience.As we grow our team there will be progression opportunities.Spending time with our wonderful customers.We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, experiences and perspectives.If you require to apply in a different format, please email: recruitment@safepairofhands.co.uk to arrange.To apply please send your CV and covering letter to: recruitment@safepairofhands.co.uk
