engineering infrastructure, maintenance, and continuous improvement of broadcast systems and facilities.The successful candidate will oversee broadcast engineering teams, transmission systems, studio infrastructure, outside broadcast facilities, media workflows, technical vendors, and technology projects while ensuring high availability, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.This role is ideal for professionals with expertise in broadcast engineering, television and radio systems, transmission, studio operations, media technology, broadcast IT, playout, signal distribution, and technical operations management.🚀 What You'll DoLead and manage day-to-day broadcast engineering operationsManage broadcast engineering teams, technicians, engineers, contractors, and technical specialistsOversee the design, installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance, and upgrade of broadcast systemsManage television, radio, studio, transmission, playout, master control, contribution, and distribution infrastructureEnsure high availability and reliability of broadcast systems and critical technical infrastructureDevelop preventive and corrective maintenance programs for broadcast equipment and facilitiesMonitor system performance, technical KPIs, availability, outages, and service-level performanceLead troubleshooting, incident management, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions for technical failuresManage broadcast transmission systems, satellite, terrestrial, IP, fiber, microwave, and other distribution technologiesOversee studio systems including cameras, vision mixers, audio consoles, lighting, intercom, graphics, automation, and associated equipmentManage media servers, storage, ingest, playout, scheduling, content-management, and media asset systemsSupport the implementation of IP-based broadcast infrastructure and modern media workflowsManage outside broadcast (OB) facilities, mobile production units, and field engineering support where applicableDevelop technical standards, engineering procedures, documentation, and operational guidelinesManage technical vendors, system integrators, consultants, and equipment suppliersNegotiate and monitor service-level agreements, maintenance contracts, warranties, and technical support agreementsDevelop engineering budgets, CAPEX/OPEX plans, forecasts, and resource requirementsLead broadcast technology projects from planning and procurement through implementation and handoverConduct technical evaluations and recommend new technologies, equipment, and systemsEnsure business continuity, disaster recovery, redundancy, and technical resilience for critical broadcast operationsCoordinate with IT, cybersecurity, content, production, operations, facilities, procurement, and senior management teamsEnsure compliance with applicable UAE telecommunications, broadcasting, cybersecurity, health and safety, and organizational requirementsPrepare technical reports, dashboards, risk assessments, project updates, and executive recommendationsDrive continuous improvement, automation, modernization, and digital transformation across broadcast engineering operations✅ What We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Broadcast Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field5–10+ years of experience in broadcast engineering, media technology, telecommunications, or technical operationsProven experience managing broadcast engineering teams and complex technical environmentsStrong knowledge of television and/or radio broadcast systems and workflowsExperience with studio, transmission, playout, contribution, distribution, and media infrastructureStrong understanding of RF, satellite, IP networking, fiber, video, audio, and broadcast signal technologiesExperience managing broadcast system installations, upgrades, maintenance, and technical projectsStrong troubleshooting, incident management, and root-cause-analysis capabilitiesExperience managing technical vendors, contractors, suppliers, and system integratorsStrong project management, budgeting, procurement, and stakeholder-management skillsExcellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to work under pressure in a 24/7 broadcast operational environmentStrong understanding of the UAE media and broadcast environment is highly desirable🌟 Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Broadcast Engineering, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Media Technology, or a related disciplineProfessional certifications in broadcast technology, networking, project management, or IT infrastructureExperience with IP-based broadcasting, SMPTE ST 2110, AES67, SDI, NDI, DVB, ATSC, or other relevant broadcast technologiesExperience with broadcast automation, playout, MAM, newsroom systems, graphics, and media asset management platformsKnowledge of cloud broadcasting, virtualized production, remote production, OTT, streaming, and digital media platformsExperience with broadcast monitoring, signal analysis, network management, and centralized technical operationsKnowledge of cybersecurity requirements for broadcast and media environmentsExperience managing large-scale broadcast modernization and digital transformation projectsPrevious experience working with UAE broadcasters, media organizations, telecommunications providers, or government entities is an advantageExperience working across the UAE and
