are seeking an experienced Aquaculture Manager to lead aquaculture production, farm operations, aquatic animal health, water-quality management, biosecurity, harvesting, workforce planning, and operational performance.The ideal candidate will oversee the full production cycle while balancing animal welfare, biological performance, product quality, operational efficiency, environmental responsibility, and commercial objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement aquaculture production strategies aligned with business objectives.Manage hatchery, nursery, grow-out, pond, tank, cage, or recirculating aquaculture operations as applicable.Develop annual and seasonal production plans, stocking schedules, biomass targets, and harvest plans.Monitor stocking densities, growth rates, biomass, survival, and production performance.Coordinate fingerling, juvenile, broodstock, feed, equipment, and other production requirements.Manage feeding programs based on species, life stage, biomass, water temperature, growth targets, and production conditions.Monitor feed consumption, feed conversion, feeding efficiency, and feeding losses.Establish and maintain water-quality management programs.Monitor dissolved oxygen, temperature, pH, salinity, ammonia, nitrite, turbidity, and other relevant parameters.Manage water exchange, filtration, aeration, pumping, circulation, and treatment systems.Develop aquatic animal health and disease-prevention programs.Coordinate veterinary, laboratory, diagnostic, and health-monitoring activities.Establish strong biosecurity procedures for personnel, equipment, water, stock movement, and visitors.Monitor disease indicators, mortality, abnormal behavior, and production abnormalities.Lead responses to disease outbreaks, mortality events, water-quality incidents, and other biological risks.Manage broodstock, spawning, hatchery, nursery, grading, and stocking activities where applicable.Coordinate grading, size separation, transfers, and biomass estimation.Establish procedures for safe handling and transportation of live aquatic animals.Manage harvesting, grading, chilling, packing, storage, and dispatch activities.Ensure harvested products meet required quality, freshness, traceability, and customer specifications.Coordinate with Sales, Logistics, Quality, and Supply Chain teams on harvest and delivery requirements.Manage aquaculture facilities, ponds, tanks, cages, pumps, aerators, feeders, filtration systems, and related infrastructure.Coordinate preventive maintenance and repair of production equipment.Monitor equipment availability and operational reliability.Manage production teams, staffing levels, schedules, training, and performance.Establish clear operating procedures for feeding, sampling, water management, health, harvesting, and emergency response.Manage production budgets, operating costs, labor, feed, energy, chemicals, equipment, and other inputs.Coordinate procurement and supplier performance for feed, seed, equipment, laboratory services, and production materials.Maintain accurate records of stocking, feeding, biomass, growth, mortality, water quality, treatments, harvests, and inventory.Use production data and technology to improve forecasting and operational decisions.Implement sensors, telemetry, automated feeding, monitoring systems, and other relevant technologies.Conduct production trials and evaluate new technologies, feeds, strains, systems, or operating methods.Monitor environmental impacts including effluent, nutrient discharge, water use, energy use, and waste.Ensure compliance with applicable aquaculture, environmental, animal-health, food-safety, and occupational-safety requirements.Maintain emergency plans for power failures, oxygen depletion, extreme weather, disease outbreaks, equipment failures, and other critical events.Investigate production losses and implement corrective and preventive actions.Identify opportunities to improve yield, survival, feed efficiency, product quality, and production economics.Promote sustainable aquaculture practices and responsible resource utilization.Provide management with regular performanceIdeal CandidateThe successful candidate should have strong experience in aquaculture production, fish or shrimp farming, hatchery operations, aquatic animal health, fisheries, marine biology, or aquatic production management, preferably within commercial aquaculture, seafood production, hatcheries, recirculating systems, ponds, cages, or other intensive production environments.The candidate should demonstrate:Strong knowledge of aquaculture production principles and aquatic biology.Experience managing commercial aquatic production systems.Strong understanding of feeding, stocking, biomass, growth, and survival management.Knowledge of water-quality monitoring and treatment.Experience with aquatic animal health and disease prevention.Strong understanding of biosecurity
