BU FIT Program Manager

BU FIT Program ManagerBrothers United, Inc. dba BU Wellness NetworkBU Wellness Network is seeking a full time BU FIT Program Manager. The BU FIT Program Manager will be responsible for direct management of BU Wellness Network Patient Navigator and their programmatic activities. The BU FIT Program Manager must have a deep understanding of behavioral risk reductions practices, a commitment to community engagement, and willingness to advocate for members of the communities of focus. Also, the BU FIT Program Manager must be able to engage members of diverse populations, including but not limited to those experiencing substance misuse.Other duties include:

• Deploy evidenced-based practices and supervise Patient Navigator
• Assess Client Care and Develop Care Plans for substance misuse
• Assess and maintain networks of care for clients
• Plan and coordinate community engagement events
• Monitor Progress of all program deliverables by sending our monthly report
• Confer regularly with the Executive Director, other department personnel, and with community leaders
• Organize and maintain program data and files, frequently involving cross filing/cross reference systems
• Manage spreadsheets and input data as needed for the project/department
• Prepare and edit presentations and disseminate data to various communities of focus

Qualifications

• LCSW or other social work licensure required (Mental Health and Clinical Addiction Counselor certifications preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in social work or health-related field or other related degree is strongly preferred
• Experience in alcohol and substance misuse counseling
• Strong experience in computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word is required
• Strong experience administrative and organizational skills and experience in organizing and maintaining moderately complex filing systems
• Effective planning, organization, and time management skills. Must be able to adhere to deadlines
