All digital gold holdings are fully backed by physical bullion, maintained through secure, allocated storage solutions.Role Description The Bullion Compliance Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, responsible for overseeing regulatory and compliance activities related to Simodi Gold’s bullion trading operations. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance policies and procedures that align with DMCC regulations, anti-money laundering (AML) standards, and international best practices for precious metals trading. The Bullion Compliance Officer will monitor transactions and customer activities, conduct regular compliance reviews, and ensure that physical gold custody and digital records remain accurate and secure. Day-to-day tasks include conducting risk assessments, preparing compliance reports, supporting internal and external audits, and providing guidance and training to team members on compliance requirements. The role also requires close collaboration with operations, technology, and customer support teams to ensure that platform workflows and new product features meet regulatory and internal control standards.QualificationsStrong knowledge of compliance, regulatory frameworks, and risk management principles within financial services, commodities, or bullion trading.Experience with AML/CFT regulations, KYC processes, sanctions screening, and transaction monitoring in a regulated environment.Understanding of DMCC rules, UAE regulatory requirements, and international standards related to precious metals trading and custody.Proficiency in analyzing transactional data, preparing compliance reports, and using digital platforms or tools to track and document compliance activities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear policies, procedures, and training materials for diverse internal stakeholders.Strong attention to detail, integrity, and sound judgment, with the ability to identify issues, propose practical solutions, and work independently.Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; professional compliance certifications (e.g., CAMS or equivalent) are an advantage.Prior experience in bullion, commodities, fintech, or financial services compliance is highly beneficial; familiarity with digital trading platforms is a plus.
