Business Analyst (AML project) | Insurance

Candidates with a strong background in insurance operations and AML regulations are highly preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Transformation & Process Optimization: Lead business analysis for backend operations transformation, process mapping, and straight-through processing (STP) initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.Compliance & Regulatory Delivery: Support business implementation of compliance projects, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), and FATCA standards across operations, insurance products, and digital customer channels/apps.Requirements & Workflow Design: Gather, translate, and document business requirement specifications, functional workflows, and operational impact assessments directly for the business division.Stakeholder Management: Manage communication and alignment across business operations, compliance, product teams, and senior business leaders.UAT & BAU Support: Support user acceptance testing (UAT), operational readiness, change management, and ongoing BAU process enhancements.Requirements & QualificationsDomain Experience: 5+ years of Business Analyst experience within the Insurance / Financial Services sector.Core Subject Knowledge: Strong domain expertise in AML, KYC, and FATCA compliance requirements alongside general insurance operations.Focus Area: Solid track record in backend operations transformation and business process re-engineeringSoft Skills: Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills with a strong business-minded approach.
