You will play a key role in gathering business requirements, designing business processes, enabling API integrations, and driving enterprise-wide process modelling standards.You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and data teams to deliver scalable business solutions while ensuring process excellence, data integrity, and seamless system integration.Key ResponsibilitiesGather, document, validate, and analyse business requirements from business stakeholders.Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.Query, manipulate, and analyse data from multiple sources to provide actionable business insights.Design, develop, test, and support API integrations between internal and external enterprise systems.Create, maintain, and manage API documentation, interface specifications, and integration standards.Monitor API performance, troubleshoot integration issues, and ensure data reliability and accuracy.Collaborate with Business, IT, Architecture, and Development teams to deliver technical solutions aligned with business objectives.Lead business process modelling initiatives using BPMN 2.0 standards.Design and implement enterprise business process models and workflows.Develop and deliver BPMN 2.0 training programs for Business Analysts and stakeholders.Create and maintain enterprise modelling frameworks using Sparx Enterprise Architect.Establish modelling standards, governance, and best practices for enterprise-wide adoption.Support continuous improvement initiatives through business process optimisation and automation.Ensure documentation is maintained in accordance with organisational standards and governance.Experience & Skills RequiredProven experience as a Business Analyst within enterprise transformation or digital projects.Strong experience gathering, documenting, and analysing business requirements.Hands-on experience with API integrations, REST APIs, and system interface design.Strong SQL and data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.Expert knowledge of BPMN 2.0 process modelling.Experience designing business processes and workflow solutions.Advanced experience using Sparx Enterprise Architect.Experience developing enterprise modelling frameworks, standards, and governance.Knowledge of enterprise architecture principles and modelling methodologies.Strong understanding of business process improvement methodologies.Experience working across cross-functional technical and business teams.Excellent documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Technical SkillsBusiness AnalysisBPMN 2.0Business Process Design & ImplementationAPI Integration (REST/Web Services)API Documentation & Integration SpecificationsSQL & Data AnalysisEnterprise ArchitectureSparx Enterprise ArchitectData ManagementProcess ModellingRequirements EngineeringDesirable SkillsExperience with Agile and Scrum delivery methodologies.Knowledge of API management platforms.Experience with business process automation initiatives.Understanding of cloud-based integration platforms.Exposure to enterprise data governance and master data management.Personal SkillsStrong analytical and critical thinking skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills.Excellent organisational and time management skills.High attention to detail with a commitment to quality.Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.This opportunity is with a leading organisation offering a collaborative and delivery-focused environment, providing the opportunity to work across multiple projects and contribute to successful technology initiatives.kai.withers@empiric.comMOBI: +44 7585275914T: +44 203 6757777W: www.empiric.comEmpiric is one of the fastest-growing technology and transformation recruitment agency's specialising in data, digital, cloud and security.
