The successful candidate will effectively coordinate cross-functional teams including clients, developers, operations staff, and internal stakeholders while maintaining project momentum and proactively managing risks.This position requires both strong project management capabilities and technical proficiency in EDI standards to perform gap analysis and create data mappings that guide development work.This is a remote role with ad hoc addendance to one of our offices.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSProject Management & OrchestrationProject Ownership: Take ownership of integration projects from initial planning through go-live, validating and refining project plans while driving execution across all phasesStory Management: Create and maintain detailed Jira stories for development team, ensuring work is clearly defined and stays ahead of team velocity to prevent delaysTeam Coordination: Orchestrate activities across developers, operations teams, and client resources throughout the project lifecycle (discovery, development, testing, deployment)Agile Participation: Participate in daily standups with broader BA and developer teams, providing project updates and coordinating dependenciesStakeholder Management & CommunicationStatus Reporting: Provide weekly project status updates to internal stakeholders (sales, account management) and clients, ensuring transparency and preventing communication gapsClient Engagement: Ensure client responsiveness during discovery and testing phases, escalating unresponsiveness or delays to appropriate stakeholders and managementScope Management: Identify and address scope misalignments early, working with clients to clarify requirements and involving sales and management when neededRisk Management: Proactively identify project risks, communicate concerns to stakeholders, and escalate issues to management with recommended solutionsTechnical Analysis & RequirementsGap Analysis: Perform detailed technical gap analysis of client requirements against system capabilities, identifying integration scope and complexityData Mapping: Create field-by-field paper mappings for EDI transactions, XML, JSON, and text file formats that developers will use for implementationRequirements Documentation: Work with Client Solutions Managers to gather and document detailed integration requirements during discovery phaseDeveloper Collaboration: Partner with development team throughout build phase to answer questions and clarify mapping specificationsEDI Expertise: Leverage knowledge of EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and integration formats to design effective solutionsQuality Assurance & TestingOperations Alignment: Secure operational team buy-in and support for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phaseTesting Coordination: Coordinate UAT activities with clients and operations teams, ensuring proper test coverage before production deploymentQuality Validation: Perform quality assurance testing on integration builds before production releaseProcess ManagementMeeting Facilitation: Develop and lead internal and external meeting agendas, applying project standards consistentlyDocumentation: Prepare reports, flow diagrams, and project documentation to support implementation and knowledge transferContinuous Improvement: Review project outcomes and identify opportunities for process standing for extended periodsSKILLS AND ABILITIESRequired SkillsEDI Knowledge: Extensive understanding of EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and working knowledge of XML, JSON data formatsData Mapping: Ability to translate business and technical requirements into detailed field-by-field data mappingsProject Management: Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and maintain team velocityStakeholder Management: Proven ability to manage expectations, communicate proactively, and navigate competing priorities across multiple stakeholder groupsLogistics industry knowledge (freight forwarding, warehousing, customs brokerage)Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with ability to identify issues early and develop solutions independentlyCommunication: experienceExperience with integration platforms (Boomi, Sterling Integrator, Informatica)EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEEducation: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or related analytical field preferred, OR 5+ years logistics industry experienceExperience Requirements:Minimum 5 years of Business Analysis experienceDemonstrated experience managing projects with multiple stakeholdersExperience coordinating development teams and driving technical implementationsProven track record of delivering integration projects on time.
