Lamar Blvd, Austin, Tx 78752Candidates must be local to Austin, TX or surrounding areas.**Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a contract Business Analyst to be a key resource on a technical services team for our client, the Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS).Responsibilities The following describes the work that will be done by Business Analyst:Support current client's projects and priorities in the facilitation of gathering themes/epics/user stories/acceptance criteria and analysis of existing requirements documentation. Directly support project and development teams on various initiatives to improve agency effectiveness, compliance with applicable statutes, and enhance service delivery capabilities. Facilitate project development and quality assurance discussions on gathering story points to use for a predictive level of effort model.Qualifications Minimum Requirements:4 years of:Experience in the field or related field as a senior level Business Analyst (technical/emerging technology)Experience with a basic working knowledge of Agile project management methodology/practicesPreferred:1 year of:Experience understanding and documentation of use cases.Experience process documentation mappingCompany OverviewAllied Consultants has been contracted with the Texas State Government for 34 years, we are a Top Ten ranked vendor, and premier provider of technical and business staffing solutions.
