This role will serve as the Product Owner's right hand, partnering closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, data governance, and operations to translate business needs into scalable product capabilities.This is an ideal opportunity for a Business Analyst who enjoys balancing business strategy with technical execution. You'll facilitate stakeholder discussions, document requirements, write user stories, partner with highly technical engineering teams, and help deliver enterprise data products in a fast-paced Agile environment.Day-to-Day Responsibilities:Partner closely with the Product Owner to drive multiple product initiatives from discovery through delivery.Conduct stakeholder interviews and facilitate requirements gathering sessions with business users, engineering, data governance, and operations teams.Analyze business requests and identify common needs that can be translated into scalable product capabilities rather than one-off solutions.Document business requirements, functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and use cases.Collaborate with highly technical engineering teams to clarify requirements, answer questions, and support solution design.Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, story grooming, and sprint reviews using Jira.Support enterprise data initiatives focused on data mastering, data quality, and governance.Coordinate across engineering, operations, governance, and business stakeholders to keep initiatives on track and remove roadblocks.Track project risks, action items, dependencies, and decisions while maintaining requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.Prepare PowerPoint presentations, executive updates, and project status materials for leadership.Support business process improvement initiatives as priorities evolve across the organization.Minimum Requirements:5 years of Business Analyst experience supporting enterprise technology, product, data, analytics, or business transformation initiatives.Experience partnering closely with a Product Manager or Product Owner throughout the product lifecycle.Strong experience gathering business requirements and translating them into user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.Experience facilitating stakeholder interviews, workshops, and cross-functional discussions with competing priorities.Experience working directly with highly technical software engineering teams in Agile environments.Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams.Self-starter who is detail-oriented, adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously.Must have access to a personal laptop or desktop for work.Must be willing to comply with org's personal trading disclosure requirements, including restrictions on stock trading during business hours and temporary worker ownership of stock.Preferred Qualifications:Experience within financial services, asset management, or investment management.Experience supporting enterprise data products, reporting, analytics, or business intelligence initiatives.Knowledge of data governance, master data management, metadata, or data quality initiatives.Experience with Confluence.SQL and/or Snowflake experience.Experience creating executive-level PowerPoint presentations.Experience supporting business process improvement or enterprise transformation initiatives.Project Overview:The team is building a new enterprise publishing platform that centralizes the creation and distribution of investment data used across the organization. The platform integrates data mastering, quality rules, and enterprise data governance while serving a diverse group of internal stakeholders. Success in this role requires balancing competing business needs, partnering with highly technical engineering teams, and helping define scalable product capabilities that support multiple users across the enterprise rather than individual custom solutions.
