Business Analyst

We’re hiring a Senior Business Analyst / Product Analyst with strong expertise in cleared derivatives to own backlog management and drive delivery of high-quality financial systems. You’ll act as a key bridge between business stakeholders and Agile teams, ensuring solutions align with business, regulatory, and operational needs.This role is responsible for owning and contributing to the product backlog while ensuring high-quality delivery of solutions aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with stakeholders, Product Owners, and Agile teams to translate complex functional needs into clear requirements, supporting the development of robust financial systems focused on cleared derivatives back-office processing.Key responsibilities:Own and contribute to the product backlog, including requirement definition, refinement, and prioritization in close collaboration with Product OwnersMaximize product value by ensuring solutions align with business goals, regulatory requirements, and operational needs of cleared derivatives back-office processingClearly articulate and communicate functional and non-functional requirements to development teams to ensure consistent and accurate deliveryWork closely within Agile/Scrum teams (developers, QA, Product Owners) to deliver high-quality product incrementsAct as a senior point of contact for stakeholders, proactively driving alignment and resolving ambiguities in requirementsProvide client support, including analysis of issues, clarification of requirements, and ensuring timely resolution of production/query-related topicsParticipate in and support testing activities (functional, integration, UAT) to ensure delivered features meet expected quality standardsIdentify and drive continuous improvement initiatives across product functionality, workflows, and delivery processesMentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing and best practices within the teamWhat You Bring:Strong expertise in Cleared Derivatives (Futures & Options) Back Office processing, including trade lifecycle, clearing, settlements, and reconciliationAlternatively, solid experience in Banking Risk Management or Treasury Management systemsStrong understanding of financial products, post-trade processes, and operational work flowsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across business and technical teamsProactive, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving capabilitiesFluency in English (written and spoken)Strong team-oriented mindset with ability to work in cross-functional and distributed teamsDegree in Economics, Mathematics, or related fieldNice-to-Have:Experience working in an Agile development environment (Scrum, Kanban)Basic knowledge of at least one programming or scripting languageCFA certification (any level)Agile certifications such as CSM, CSPO, or equivalentCertification in Quantitative Finance (e.g., IMQF or similar)
