Business Analyst - Job DescriptionMust be U.S. Citizen with Active Secret Clearance.Document requirements, support development and testing for software implementation projects.Troubleshoots and resolves ticket issues, provides reports and recommendations to management on an ongoing basis. Design solution for multiple simultaneous enhancements to improve processes and outcomes.Improve the efficiency of team operations through lean process design and process automation.Lead solution deployment for various customers in the Newport News area.Lead site visits, executive briefings, conduct workshops and leadership training sessions. Provide quality assurance and oversight during development of cloud based custom application to track customer project requirements, Manage internal training initiatives for large geographically distributed team of two dozen (or more) software consultants including hosting bi-weekly trainings, creating knowledge repository, and managing a team web forum to ensure our customers receive high value service from our experts. Lead business process workshops, fit gap analysis, design customizations and requirement changes. Provide software deployment metrics to program leadership and client stakeholders across numerous releases. Act as SME liaison between the project and other customers, respond to system questions, issues, and errors handlingConduct process improvements workshops, develop and document the integration of the systems across other customer software systems. Prepare and review training contents, end-user training artifacts and presentation developed specifically instructor-led training and workshop, computer-based training courses and process improvements.Ability to create publications such as white papers, one-pagers, and presentations on software overviews, user performances, and data-driven metrics.Manage risks through effective contingency plans and proper escalation.Perform fit/gap analysis to develop functional and technical specifications.Responds and troubleshoots end user issues escalated from the service help desk Basic Qualifications:Must be U.S. Citizen with Active Secret Clearance.Work locations: Newport News, VA Experience with software deployment and onsite system supportMicrosoft tools and Office products Ability to travel if necessary to client sites in both domestic and international locations.Basic understanding of dashboards and data tools
