Business Analyst

Job OverviewWe are seeking a Business Analyst to support and enhance internal, business-critical applications that underpin core operational functions. This role works closely with business users and delivery teams, focusing on translating user needs into structured business requirements, validating solutions, and supporting high-availability systems.The role operates in a regulated, mission-critical environment and includes standby responsibilities to ensure service continuity.Key ResponsibilitiesEngage business users and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and clarify user needs and operational requirementsTranslate user requirements into clear, structured business and functional requirements for technical and delivery teamsSupport in-house, mission-critical applications with strong focus on stability, availability, and operational impactPerform basic SQL queries to validate data, investigate issues, and support functional analysisSupport user acceptance testing, defect analysis, and solution validation activitiesCollaborate closely with development, QA, infrastructure, and support teams throughout the delivery lifecycleParticipate in production support activities, including issue analysis and root cause investigationProvide standby or after-hours support for critical systems when requiredMaintain accurate documentation including business requirements, process flows, and operational proceduresContribute to continuous improvement initiatives across business processes and system usageJob RequirementsQualificationsDiploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related disciplineExperienceMinimum 3 years of experience working as a Business Analyst supporting in-house or enterprise applicationsProven experience translating user needs into business and functional requirementsExposure to business-critical systems, preferably within regulated or high-availability environmentsTechnical and Functional SkillsAbility to write and execute basic SQL queries for data validation and analysisStrong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skillsUnderstanding of application delivery and support lifecyclesCore CompetenciesStrong stakeholder engagement and communication skillsAble to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsComfortable operating in environments with standby or after-hours support requirementsDetail-oriented, structured, and solution drivenNice to HaveExperience supporting applications in finance, healthcare, or other regulated industriesExposure to production or application support environmentsFamiliarity with SDLC or Agile delivery methodologiesPlease send your detailed resume in MS Word format to resume@goldtecHRs.com withEducation LevelWorking experiencesEach employment backgroundReason for leaving each employmentLast drawn salaryExpected salaryDate of availability
