Business Analyst (Capital Markets)About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in Capital Markets to join our client in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements, working closely with business stakeholders, and delivering technology solutions for capital market platforms.Saudi Arabia Capital Markets experience is mandatory, with a strong understanding of local market regulations, trading operations, and post-trade processes.Key ResponsibilitiesGather, analyze, validate, and document business and functional requirements.Work closely with business users, product owners, project managers, and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.Conduct requirement workshops, stakeholder interviews, and business process analysis.Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), user stories, process flows, and use cases.Perform gap analysis between current and future business processes.Support solution design by collaborating with architects and development teams.Participate in system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and production rollout activities.Coordinate with QA teams to ensure business requirements are adequately tested.Support production issue analysis and recommend process improvements.Ensure compliance with Capital Market Authority (CMA) regulations and internal governance standards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile or Waterfall project environments.Assist in change management, user training, and business readiness activities.Required Skills & Experience7–15 years of experience as a Business Analyst.Mandatory experience working in Saudi Arabia Capital Markets projects.Strong knowledge of the complete capital markets lifecycle.Experience in requirement gathering, stakeholder management, and business process modeling.Excellent documentation skills including BRD, FRD/FSD, user stories, process flows, and use cases.Experience supporting SIT, UAT, and production deployments.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.Capital Markets Domain ExpertiseCandidates should have hands-on experience in one or more of the following:Equity TradingFixed IncomeBondsSukukMutual FundsETFsIPO ProcessesDerivativesAsset ManagementPortfolio ManagementOrder ManagementTrade LifecycleClearing & SettlementCustodyCorporate ActionsMarket DataRisk ManagementCompliance & Regulatory ReportingPreferred Technical KnowledgeSQL for data validation and analysisAPI and system integration conceptsJira, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile toolsMicrosoft Visio or equivalent process modeling toolsKnowledge of trading platforms and capital market applicationsData analysis and reporting toolsPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile Business Analysis, or Scrum certifications are an advantage.Capital Markets certifications are highly desirable.Mandatory Requirements7–15 years of overall Business Analysis experience.Saudi Arabia Capital Markets project experience is mandatory.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work onsite in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.Experience working with banking, financial services, or capital market organizations within Saudi Arabia.If interested pls send updated cv to balaguru@hastraa.comWRBalaguru
