Business Analyst

We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst – Airports to join a major airport technology and systems integration program.Role PurposeThe Business Analyst - Airports elicits, analyses and documents business and functional requirements for airport systems, bridging business and operational needs with technical solutions.The role runs analysis and stakeholder engagement to produce clear, traceable requirements and process insight that drive design, build and test across the programme.Key ResponsibilitiesRequirements & AnalysisElicit requirements through workshops, interviews and document analysis.Analyse and specify business, functional and non-functional requirements to a clear, testable standard.Model current and future processes, data and use cases.Traceability & DeliveryMaintain requirements traceability to design and test.Support change impact assessment and acceptance criteria.Work with architects and delivery teams to clarify and resolve requirements queries.Stakeholder & QualityEngage business, operational and technical stakeholders to validate understanding.Assure quality and consistency of analysis artefacts.Skills & ExperienceEssentialBusiness analysis: Solid experience as a business analyst on technology programmes.Elicitation & modelling: Strong elicitation, requirements specification and process/data modelling skills.Traceability: Experience maintaining requirements traceability.Tooling: Proficiency with analysis/modelling tools (Visio, JIRA/ADO, Confluence, requirements tools).Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication and facilitation.DesirableKnowledge of airport or aviation systems and operations.Analysis certification (BCS/IIBA) and/or agile experience.Experience in critical-infrastructure or regulated environments.Exposure to MSI delivery models.QualificationsDegree in a relevant discipline (or equivalent professional experience).Business analysis certification desirable (BCS, IIBA).Key CompetenciesAnalytical thinking - facilitation - attention to detail - clarity in documentation - collaboration - problem-solving - stakeholder communication.
