Employees at Brillio Romania not only thrive, but they also have the chance to build long and fulfilling careers, fostering a sense of stability and dedication that ultimately benefits both the company and our valued clients.Role:Senior Business Analyst – AI & GenAIRole SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a strategic market data transformation programme within a global financial services organisation.The role focuses on the modernisation of a large-scale legacy market data platform and its transition towards a modern Microsoft-based Database of Records (DboR) architecture.You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects and engineering teams across global locations to understand complex data platforms, analyse existing processes and help define the future-state solution.This is not a traditional requirements-gathering role. We are looking for a Business Analyst who is comfortable working with complex data environments, can operate independently and is confident challenging existing approaches to drive better outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyse complex legacy market data platforms and understand current-state business and data processing workflows.Work with business stakeholders, architects and engineering teams to define future-state requirements and solutions.Challenge existing processes and identify opportunities to simplify, improve and modernise data flows.Translate complex business and technical requirements into clear user stories and functional specifications.Support the migration from legacy platforms to modern cloud-based data architectures.Collaborate with engineering teams throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure requirements are clearly understood and effectively implemented.Facilitate workshops with technical and business stakeholders across multiple locations.Support Agile delivery activities including backlog refinement, sprint planning and acceptance.Identify risks, dependencies and gaps early and proactively support their resolution.Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making where required.Technical & Domain SkillsBusiness AnalysisSignificant experience as a Business Analyst within large-scale enterprise transformation programmes.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity.Strong stakeholder management, communication and workshop facilitation skills.Experience working closely with engineering and architecture teams.Experience working within Agile delivery environments.Data & TechnologyStrong conceptual understanding of:Data-intensive platforms and complex data processing environments.ETL pipelines and data integration.Data processing and low-latency data processing.Data quality, validation and data lineage.Data mapping and data flows.Cloud-based data architectures.APIs and event-driven architectures.Coding experience is not required, but you should be comfortable understanding how modern data platforms are designed and operate.Financial Services / Market DataExperience in one or more of the following areas:Financial ServicesCapital MarketsMarket DataInvestment BankingExchangesFinancial Data PlatformsUnderstanding of financial instruments, pricing, quotes, volumes, commodities, equities, fixed income, derivatives and time-series data is highly advantageous.Nice to HaveExperience with Microsoft Azure data platforms.Experience working on cloud transformation programmes.Experience supporting large-scale legacy platform modernisation.Knowledge of Database of Records (DboR) architectures.Experience with market data providers such as Bloomberg, LSEG, S&P Global, FactSet, ICE or similar organisations.SAFe or Agile certification.
