Apply & track with Apply EdgeBusiness Analyst/Snr business AnalystPermanent roleLocation: Within 45 minutes of Liverpool (3-4 days onsite / 1-2 days remote)Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 baseThe RoleWe’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst who knows how to bring structure to complexity in this transformation group with a fast paced modernisation across both finance, logistics and rolling out new modern tech stacks and applications.You’ll join a busy Logistics & IT function delivering business-critical initiatives across billing platforms, operational systems, and wider technology change. This isn’t a “note-taker BA” role — we need someone who can lead from the front, run workshops confidently, challenge constructively, and translate ambiguity into clear, actionable requirements.If you enjoy untangling complex systems, aligning stakeholders, and making sure projects actually deliver what they’re supposed to — you’ll fit right in.What You’ll Be DoingLeading stakeholder workshops across IT and operational teamsCapturing, documenting and validating business and system requirementsWorking across complex IT landscapes (integrations, legacy systems, billing platforms)Translating business needs into clear functional and non-functional specificationsSupporting solution design discussions with technical teamsMapping current vs future state processesIdentifying risks, dependencies and impact across systemsDriving clarity and momentum across key logistics and billing projectsActing as the bridge between operational teams and technical deliveryWhat We’re Looking ForExperience4-5+ years’ min experience as a Business AnalystStrong background working with complex IT systemsExperience within billing systems or financial process environmentsProven track record of delivering change within fast-paced operational environmentsExperience working closely with Logistics, Operations, or Supply Chain functions (desirable)Skills & CapabilityConfident workshop facilitator (you can lead a room, not just attend it)Strong requirements elicitation and documentation skillsProcess mapping (As-Is / To-Be)Stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiencesComfortable navigating ambiguity and driving decisionsStrong analytical mindset with attention to detailAble to balance structure with paceWorking ModelHybrid: 3-4 days per week onsite (within 45 minutes of Liverpool)1-2 days remoteMust be UK-based and able to commute reliablyWhat You’ll BringQuality BA discipline and governanceCommercial awareness — understanding impact, not just documentationA calm, structured approach in a busy environmentThe confidence to challenge when needed (politely, but firmly)The drive to move projects forward, not let them driftWhy Join?You’ll play a key role in shaping critical systems within a growing Logistics & IT function.
