🔎 We're Hiring: Senior Business Analyst – Specialty Insurance & Underwriting📍 Nearshore EU (Poland, Romania)💼 Full-time📊 10+ years Business Analysis experience | 3+ years in Specialty Insurance or ReinsuranceSwiss Himmel GmbH is partnering with a leading specialty insurance/reinsurance business to find a Senior Business Analyst who has worked closely with Underwriters, Underwriting Operations, and London Market teams on transformation and platform initiatives.🚨 Must-have: Hands-on Specialty Insurance experience within the Lloyd's of London market.🎯 What you'll bring:10+ years of Business Analysis experience, including 3+ years in Specialty Insurance or ReinsuranceDirect experience with Lloyd's of London / London Market specialty insurance operations — requiredStrong knowledge of the underwriting lifecycle: submission, risk assessment, pricing & quotation, binding, policy administration, endorsements, renewalsUnderstanding of broker-led distribution models within the London MarketExposure to specialty lines: Property, Casualty, Financial Lines, Cyber, Marine, Aviation, Energy, Trade Credit, or Delegated AuthorityHands-on experience with BRD/FRD, user stories, acceptance criteria, BPMN process mapping, gap analysis, and target operating model designWorking knowledge of SQL, data mapping, UAT planning/execution, and reporting toolsFamiliarity with Jira and ConfluenceComfortable engaging senior stakeholders: Underwriters, Product Owners, Operations, Actuarial, Risk & Compliance, TechnologyGuidewire or Duck Creek exposure is a strong plusCBAP, PMI-PBA, or BCS Business Analysis certification preferred; CII/ACII advantageous💡 Ideal candidate:A Senior BA who has partnered directly with underwriting teams on transformation initiatives within the Lloyd's of London market, underwriting platforms, policy administration systems, and data-driven business change — comfortable in Agile delivery environments.📩 Interested, or know someone who fits?
