Business Analyst

Location: Onsite – Riyadh, Saudi ArabiaExperience: 1–2 YearsEmployment Type: Full-TimeAbout the RoleKalSoft is looking for a motivated Business Analyst/Solution Analyst to support the analysis, design, documentation, and implementation of technology solutions based on business requirements. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of business analysis, requirement gathering, process documentation, system integration, and software development lifecycle. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, QA teams, and other technical teams to support successful project delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesGather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from business users and stakeholdersUnderstand business processes and translate requirements into clear functional and technical solution requirementsPrepare and maintain functional documentation including BRDs, FRDs, use cases, user stories, process flows, and functional specificationsWork with development and technical teams to clarify requirements and support the implementation of proposed solutionsAnalyze existing business processes and systems to identify gaps, improvement opportunities, and potential solutionsCreate process flows, workflows, wireframes, and basic solution diagrams using appropriate analysis and documentation toolsParticipate in requirement validation sessions, walkthroughs, and stakeholder meetingsSupport QA teams by reviewing test scenarios and test cases to ensure alignment with business requirementsAssist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), issue tracking, defect validation, and resolution coordinationCoordinate with business users and technical teams to resolve functional issues and clarify system requirementsMaintain requirement traceability and ensure approved requirements are properly documented throughout the project lifecyclePrepare meeting minutes, action items, project updates, issue logs, and other project-related documentationSupport project teams during implementation, deployment, and post-production activitiesParticipate in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and supportEnsure solutions and documentation are aligned with business requirements, project standards, and organizational processesPerform other analysis and coordination activities as required by the projectRequired Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field1–2 years of experience as a Solution Analyst, System Analyst, Functional Analyst, or in a similar roleGood understanding of business and functional requirement gathering and analysisExperience preparing business and functional documentation such as BRDs, FRDs, use cases, user stories, and process flowsBasic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software project methodologiesGood understanding of business process modeling and workflow documentationBasic knowledge of SQL and database concepts will be an advantageFamiliarity with REST APIs, web services, and system integration concepts is preferredGood knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPointFamiliarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, Draw.io, or similar documentation/process modeling tools is an advantageStrong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishAbility to work effectively with business stakeholders, developers, QA teams, and project teamsAbility to manage multiple tasks and deliverables in a fast-paced environment
