Apply & track with Apply EdgeА global digital transformation company with a team of more than 4,900 global players in 26 countries – in Europe, America and Asia, working together to put organizations at the forefront of innovation by bringing together talent, knowledge and technology.Our approach is based on conscious technology, through which we create positive environments and meaningful opportunities, always in our own way, making the complex simple.VASS BeNeLux, in partnership with Frontex, is currently seeking a Business Analyst to work from Frontex, near-site within a 2-hour distance from Warsaw.The role:- Models and documents value chain/streams, business processes, roles, capabilities and data.- Elicits and analyses business needs, requirements and user stories,- Supports business experts and product owners during definition of requirements and software development- Maintains and tracks requirements/user stories in systems lifecycle- Transfers business, users and technical needs into business requirements specification,- Maps business goals, project benefits, priorities, components, system features- Analyses available systems- Supports identification of options for potential solutions- Supports preparation of business cases and feasibility studies- Contributes to systems design, testing, quality assurance, change management.- Responsible for designing, validating, and testing business processes for achieving business process excellence- Responsible for taking a holistic approach in the planning and managing of a programmes for continuous improvements of business processes- Responsible for coaching Frontex staff on upcoming changes, ensuring that a plan is in place to teach new skills and/or process changes- Collaborates with owners of end-to-end processes to continually seek out process improvements- Identifies opportunities for business process improvement leading to improved customer service, lower costs, or higher revenue (effectiveness and efficiency gains)- Communicates project objectives, business case, requirements, and scope to all stakeholders, in order to better provide rapid responses to business needs- Quantitatively analyses business processes, performing cost-benefit and what-if analysis- Plans organizational changes process- Implements performance monitoring systems for business processes- Supports business users in developing strategic and tactical plans (e.g. sector strategies, implementation plans etc.)- Supports definition of transition roadmaps for business architecturesThe candidate:Bachelor degreeHas gone at least 1 time through the complete lifecycle of the software solutionKnowledge in business processes modelling using BPMN notation,Knowledge in requirements/user stories elicitation and analysis,Knows analysis/modelling notations like UML (capability diagram, activity diagram, state diagram, logical data model etc.)Is proficient in using modelling tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect, Aris Architect or othersPresents excellent analytical and communication skillsHolds ability to create and maintain analytical and project documentation effectivelyPresents problem solving skillsSolid previous experience in business analysis activities for enterprise information systems supporting human resource and asset management, financial processes and grant agreements management.Previous experience in business analysis in projects related to integrations between systems and data platforms.Demonstrated familiarity with SQL and data analysis techniquesAt least 3 years of experience as a BA of a large system working with a development team with more than 10 developersAll candidates must have a C1-level English certificate or be willing to take the examPersonal Security Clearance is required (security screening procedure must be initiated within first 45 days of assignment)At least 2 certifications among:• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent• Certified UML Professional certificate at foundation level or BPM 2 fundamental level or equivalent• or equivalent certifications recognized internationally (subject to acceptance as a valid credential by the Contracting Authority)If you want to join a dynamic company where technological challenges will be found in your day to day we are waiting for you in the great VASS team.And we encourage you to be the best version of yourself: Transformative, Creative, Honest, Vibrant!At VASS we take action every day to achieve a favourable environment that facilitates and promotes equal opportunities, non-discrimination, diversity and inclusion of all people.
