Business AnalystAthens | Hybrid 2|3, near Megaro Mousikis metro stationPosition overviewUnicorn Domain is expanding its Business Analysis Chapter with a Business Analyst to work on enterprise programmes in banking, public sector and energy. This is a delivery-facing role within established client engagements. You will work alongside senior analysts, Technical Leads and Product Owners to define, document and safeguard business requirements across the full delivery lifecycle. The exact scope of your involvement varies by project. The role suits an analyst who already has some software delivery experience behind them, understands enterprise constraints, and is ready to take greater scope within a formal engineering organisation. We assess candidates on capability rather than on years, so stronger or lighter profiles are equally welcome to apply.About usUnicorn Domain develops scalable, high-performance cloud enterprise software for demanding clients in Greece and internationally. We operate an engineering organisation of approximately 65 professionals, structured in squads and chapters on the Spotify model. Our clients are large organisations with complex governance, regulatory obligations and legacy estates. Analysis quality is a direct determinant of delivery outcome, which is why the Business Analysis Chapter is a core discipline in the company rather than a support function. We have built a place for people who care about their craft. What holds the company together is not process alone; it is that our people genuinely enjoy the work and take the quality of what they deliver personally. We hire for that first, and we protect it.Key responsibilitiesRequirements analysis and documentation Elicit, analyse and document business requirements within assigned programme workstreams. Produce Epics, User Stories, functional specifications and acceptance criteria of a standard that allows engineering to build without further clarification cycles.Business process modelling Model current and target state processes using BPMN or equivalent notation. Identify process gaps, exceptions, integration dependencies and automation opportunities. Maintain traceability between business objectives, requirements and delivered functionality.Client engagement Participate in requirement workshops and discovery sessions with client stakeholders, leading sessions within your workstream. Manage day to day communication with business owners, and escalate scope and dependency issues in a timely manner.Delivery support Provide continuous requirement clarification to the squad throughout implementation. Review test cases for business coverage, support User Acceptance Testing, and validate that delivered functionality meets the agreed acceptance criteria.Functional prototyping Produce wireframes and functional prototypes to support stakeholder validation and reduce ambiguity ahead of implementation. Our analysts use AI tooling such as Claude Design to put a first working wireframe in front of the client early, before UI/UX takes the design forward.Cross-functional collaboration Work closely with Architecture, Development, QA, UI/UX and DevOps. Contribute to the Chapter's documentation standards, templates and analysis practice.Required qualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering and Informatics, Software Engineering or Information SystemsMore than two years of professional experience in software business analysis, or in a closely equivalent role such as Product Owner or Systems AnalystDemonstrable experience producing functional documentation for software delivery teams: requirements documents, user stories, specifications, acceptance criteriaThe ability to map and document business processes and flows in a structured, readable formExperience within Agile delivery, working in sprints alongside development and QAPrecise written and verbal communication in English, with the ability to write for both business and technical audiencesStructured analytical thinking and the discipline to maintain accuracy and consistency across large requirement setsPreferred qualificationsExperience on enterprise-scale digital transformation programmes, particularly in banking, public sector or utilitiesUnderstanding of system integrations, APIs and microservices architecturesPractical experience with the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence)Business process modelling in BPMN, UML or an equivalent notationExposure to workflow and process automation platforms such as CamundaFamiliarity with SQL and reporting or BI toolsWireframing and prototyping toolsProfessional certifications relevant to business analysis, product ownership or Agile deliveryExposure to pre-sales activity, RFP and RFI analysis, or effort estimationHow we workWe operate a Scrum-based Agile framework inspired by the Spotify model.
