Business Analyst

Job Title: Business AnalystLocation: Toronto, ONWork Mode : Hybrid – 2 days Contract: 12 monthsPosition OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong Financial Services and AML experience to support regulatory reporting and data analysis initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong requirements management, stakeholder engagement, and data analysis skills.Key ResponsibilitiesLead requirements gathering, documentation, validation, and sign-off.Lead BA activities for large, complex, strategic, and regulatory projects.Coordinate and govern requirements across multiple workstreams.Develop delivery approaches, work plans, timelines, and estimates.Manage requirements dependencies, risks, issues, and change requests.Analyze current-state processes and identify business needs and solutions.Perform impact analysis across business, processes, technology, customers, and stakeholders.Lead stakeholder discussions and drive consensus and approvals.Guide and support other Business Analysts.Support regulatory reporting and data analysis projects involving mapping, lineage, modeling, and data quality.Required Qualifications8–10+ years of Business Analysis experience within Financial Services/Banking.Strong experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.Knowledge of AML, KYC, CDD, FINTRAC, LCTR, CTR, and STR.Experience with Transaction Monitoring and Customer Risk Rating solutions.Strong knowledge of data analysis, data lineage, source-to-target mapping, data modeling, and data quality.Experience with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Visio, Excel, and MS Office.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, influencing, and consensus-building skills.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business process improvement capabilities.University degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline preferred.Nice to HaveAML/Sanctions experience.AML or sanctions-related certification.Dexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions with over 12,000 employees and 70 locations worldwide.
