Business Analyst

Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong Investment Banking domain knowledge to work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and project teams to define and deliver solutions for investment banking processes and applications.Key ResponsibilitiesGather, analyse, and document business requirements from Investment Banking stakeholders.Work closely with business users, product owners, developers, and technology teams to translate business needs into functional requirements.Prepare BRD, FRD, user stories, process flows, use cases, and functional specifications.Analyse and improve Investment Banking business processes and workflows.Support requirements related to front office, middle office, and back-office processes.Work on projects involving trade lifecycle, securities, corporate actions, settlements, payments, and financial products.Coordinate with stakeholders across different business and technology functions.Conduct impact analysis and support solution design discussions.Participate in UAT planning, test case preparation, defect analysis, and UAT execution.Ensure requirements are clearly understood and delivered according to business expectations.Identify gaps between existing processes and proposed solutions and recommend improvements.Support project documentation, status reporting, and stakeholder communication.Required Skills5–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within Investment Banking / Capital Markets.Strong understanding of Investment Banking business processes and financial products.Experience working with Front Office / Middle Office / Back Office stakeholders.Strong knowledge of trade lifecycle and transaction processing.Experience with requirements gathering, documentation, process mapping, and stakeholder management.Strong understanding of BRD, FRD, user stories, use cases, and functional specifications.Experience in UAT and test management.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work effectively with business and technology teams in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Investment Banking Domain KnowledgeEquity / Debt Capital MarketsM&A / Corporate FinanceSecurities TradingFixed IncomeDerivativesTrade LifecycleSecurities SettlementCorporate ActionsPaymentsReference DataRisk & Regulatory ReportingTreasury / Liquidity
