Apply & track with Apply EdgeTechnology Business Analyst – Applications (EMEA) Greater LondonOur client are seeking to appoint a Technology Business Analyst – Applications (EMEA) to join their Technology Enablement function. This role will be instrumental in supporting, enhancing, and optimising business-critical applications across the EMEA region and is a key position requiring a highly analytical individual capable of translating business requirements into effective technology solutions while operating within a multi-country environment.Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:Conducting detailed analysis of business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and delivering scalable solutions across enterprise applicationsActing as a primary point of contact for service and change requests, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendorsGathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into functional specifications and user storiesSupporting and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including defect identification and tracking through tools such as JIRA or equivalentFacilitating workshops, meetings, and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and solutionsMaintaining comprehensive documentation of processes, systems, and enhancementsSupporting project delivery through planning, tracking, and monitoring of initiatives to ensure timely executionContributing to governance activities, including Change Advisory Board (CAB) processes and release managementEnsuring that implemented solutions align with business needs, operational requirements, and governance standardsBuilding and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders across multiple EMEA locationsCandidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will possess:Relevant experience working in business analysis or IT applicationsDemonstrated experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and testing methodologiesStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with excellent attention to detailProven ability to engage, influence, and manage stakeholders at all levelsExperience working with enterprise applications (experience within logistics, cargo, or operational environments is desirable)Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar platformsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearlyThe ability to manage multiple priorities within a regional, multi-country contextProfessional certifications (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, PMI-ACP) would be considered advantageousThis role offers the opportunity to contribute to the continuous improvement of technology and processes within a dynamic, internationally focused environment.
