Business Analyst

The role involves working across different projects within the Digital Solutions portfolio, depending on project and service requirements.Key Responsibilities:Business Analysis & Solution DesignElicit, analyse, validate and document business requirements.Analyse and model business processes and workflows.Identify process gaps, inefficiencies and optimisation opportunities.Develop business and functional specifications.Evaluate business context, drivers and expected outcomes.Translate business needs into coherent solution options.Implementation & AgileSupport backlog preparation and requirements traceability.Ensure requirements remain aligned throughout delivery.Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).Coordinate UAT activities, defects and business feedback.Participate in Agile ceremonies and project coordination activities.Stakeholder & Project SupportFacilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings.Collaborate with business stakeholders and delivery teams.Contribute to KPI monitoring and data analysis.Prepare project documentation, meeting minutes and reporting materials.Support the Project Manager with business analysis activities.Key Deliverables:The role will involve producing deliverables such as:Business Requirements DocumentsFunctional SpecificationsProcess Flow DiagramsUser Stories & Acceptance CriteriaUAT Plans & ReportsGap Analysis ReportsKPI & Reporting Dashboard SpecificationsStakeholder Workshop SummariesProject Status ReportsRequired Skills & Experience:Minimum 9 years of post-secondary professional experience.Minimum 3 years of higher education, supported by a diploma.Strong experience in Business Analysis and Requirements Engineering.Strong knowledge of business process and workflow analysis.Experience creating business and functional specifications.Experience with UAT and Agile methodologies.Strong stakeholder consultation and workshop facilitation skills.Experience with requirements traceability, gap analysis and solution validation.Strong documentation, reporting and analytical skills.Required Certification : Candidates must hold at least one of the following certifications, or an equivalent:CBAP – Certified Business Analysis ProfessionalCCBA – Certification of Competency in Business AnalysisIIBA-AAC – Agile Analysis CertificationPMI-PBA – Professional in Business AnalysisCAP – Certified Analytics ProfessionalCBPP – Certified Business Process ProfessionalIREB CPRE – Certified Professional for Requirements EngineeringCFLBA – Certified Foundation Level Business AnalystCBATL – Certified Business Analysis Thought LeaderEquivalent Business Analysis certification
