Business AnalystGeneral Sheet Metal | Clackamas, OR Full-Time | Office-BasedGeneral Sheet Metal (GSM) is looking for a Business Analyst to join our growing Technology Team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, technology, process improvement, and people.In this role, you’ll help improve how our systems, data, reporting, and business applications support our fabrication, operations, project management, and leadership teams. You’ll work with tools including Quickbase, Microsoft Power Apps, Power BI, Stratus, Excel, databases, APIs, and other business systems. What You’ll DoMaintain and improve data quality across key business systemsBuild and support reports and dashboards using Power BI, Quickbase, and other reporting toolsMaintain and enhance low-code applications in Quickbase, Power Apps, and similar platformsAssist with system integrations, automation, and API-based data flowsSupport and improve fabrication technology, including StratusWork with teams across GSM to understand business needs and translate them into practical technology solutionsTroubleshoot business applications and provide end-user supportIdentify opportunities to simplify manual processes and improve efficiency through better data, reporting, and automationResponsibly use AI tools to support development, documentation, data management, and process improvement What We’re Looking For2+ years of experience in data analytics, business systems, IT support, low-code development, systems integration, or a related fieldStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience working with Excel and structured dataStrong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical team membersAbility to work independently, manage priorities, and adapt to changing business needsAn interest in improving processes and operational efficiency Preferred ExperienceExperience with Quickbase, Power Apps, Power BI, Stratus, SQL, relational databases, APIs, or system integrations is preferred. Construction, manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial experience is helpful but not required.
