Business Analyst

🚀 We are hiring: Senior Business Systems Analyst | BucharestWe are looking for an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst to join an international project and act as a bridge between Business, Data Engineering, BI, and Data Science teams.The role is ideal for someone who enjoys understanding complex business needs, translating them into clear requirements, and working closely with technical teams to deliver effective data solutions.🔑 What you’ll do:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements
• Lead workshops with business and IT stakeholders
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
• Define business rules, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios
• Work closely with Data Engineers on Databricks data pipelines
• Analyze data sources, mappings, transformations, and data models
• Understand and document ETL/ELT processes
• Support data quality, traceability, and operational controls
• Participate in UAT, validate solutions, and investigate defects💡 What we’re looking for:
• 3+ years of experience in Business and Systems Analysis, ideally in system integration
• Experience with data mapping, data transformation, and system integration
• Knowledge of APIs and interface design
• Familiarity with middleware concepts such as APIs, message brokers, ESB, and SOA
• Medium knowledge of UML diagrams
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience with Jira and Confluence
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Strong communication, analytical, and presentation skills
• Ability to take ownership of requirements throughout the software development lifecycle
• Good command of English⭐ Nice to have:
• Banking industry experience and knowledge of banking processes
• Experience with Databricks and modern data platforms
