This position is a fully onsite position, and it requires you to work out of Washington, D.C. 20230. Hoover Building, 1401 Constitution Ave NW, Washington, DCClearance Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable federal background investigation.Position OverviewWe are seeking analytical, detail-oriented Business Analysts to support a federal government client in Washington, DC. These professionals will play a key role in evaluating information, conducting research and analysis, supporting decision-making processes, coordinating with stakeholders, and producing high-quality written deliverables for government leadership.Successful candidates will have experience supporting federal programs, policy initiatives, business operations, or complex review processes. Individuals with expertise in areas such as trade and technology policy, export controls, emerging technologies, supply chain risk, vendor risk, federal proposal reviews, or corporate due diligence are highly desired. However, candidates are not required to possess expertise in all subject areas.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct independent program, business, or policy analysis involving complex and sometimes conflicting information.Evaluate applications, proposals, submissions, or other materials against established criteria and program requirements.Prepare decision memoranda, analytical reports, briefing materials, executive summaries, and recommendations for senior government stakeholders.Gather, assess, and synthesize information from multiple stakeholders to support informed decision-making.Coordinate across internal teams and external organizations to manage clarifications, dependencies, action items, and deadlines.Support process improvement initiatives through the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs), review frameworks, and quality-control processes.Perform peer reviews to ensure analytical accuracy, consistency, and completeness of deliverables.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree.Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in program analysis, policy analysis, business analysis, technical analysis, project/program management, or related advisory services.Experience conducting research, analysis, and evaluations to support operational or strategic objectives.Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly to leadership.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Proficiency with SharePoint, Smartsheet, or Microsoft Excel.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting federal government programs or agencies.Familiarity with proposal reviews, application reviews, due diligence, compliance reviews, or structured evaluation processes.Knowledge of trade policy, export controls (EAR/ITAR), emerging technologies, AI, supply chain risk, vendor risk, or corporate ownership analysis.Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders across organizations or agencies.
