Our company is looking for a Senior Analyst: Business & Systems Analysis (Reference Data) to play a critical role in shaping strategic initiatives, modernization programmes, and AI-enabled analysis practices across the organization.This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team responsible for driving business and systems analysis excellence while contributing to the future of capital markets technology.About the RoleAs a Senior Analyst: Business & Systems Analysis, you will lead the discovery, analysis, documentation, validation, and optimization of business and system requirements across complex enterprise initiatives.You will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, engineers, testers, and delivery teams to ensure that solutions are aligned to strategic objectives, regulatory requirements, and operational needs.A key focus of the role will be leveraging AI-assisted analysis techniques to accelerate requirements gathering, reverse engineering, system modernization, and business process improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness & Systems AnalysisLead requirements elicitation workshops, stakeholder interviews, and discovery sessions.Analyse complex business processes, system interactions, and operational workflows.Produce high-quality business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, process models, and acceptance criteria.Maintain full requirements traceability from business need through testing and implementation.Conduct impact assessments, feasibility studies, and solution evaluations.Stakeholder EngagementBuild trusted relationships across business and technology teams.Facilitate workshops and decision-making sessions with senior stakeholders.Manage competing priorities and drive consensus across multiple audiences.Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and recommendations effectively.AI-Enabled Analysis & Reverse EngineeringUtilise AI-assisted tools to analyse legacy applications, source code, message schemas, integrations, and operational data.Recover business rules, requirements, and process logic where documentation is limited or unavailable.Generate and validate AI-assisted requirements, test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and solution artefacts.Contribute to the adoption and evolution of AI-driven analysis practices across the organisation.Solution Design & Delivery SupportCollaborate with architects and engineering teams during solution design.Review technical specifications to ensure business requirements are fully addressed.Support testing, defect analysis, user acceptance testing, and change management activities.Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Analysis & Design Centre of Enablement.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in:Computer ScienceInformation SystemsInformation TechnologyEngineering Or a related fieldHonours or postgraduate qualification advantageous.Business Analysis Certification (CBAP, CCBA, or equivalent).Agile certifications such as PSPO, SAFe, or IIBA-AAC advantageous.Exposure to AI-assisted analysis or software engineering tooling highly advantageous.Experience10+ years' experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar analysis role.Minimum 3 years working on complex, enterprise-scale, cross-functional initiatives.Experience across multiple business and technology domains.Strong background in system modernization, migration, or legacy replacement projects.Demonstrated experience applying AI-assisted tools within analysis activities.Financial services, capital markets, exchange, banking, or regulated industry experience strongly preferred.Essential SkillsYou will stand out if you have experience with:Requirements Elicitation & ManagementBusiness Process Modelling (BPMN)UML & System ModellingData Modelling & Data AnalysisAgile Delivery MethodologiesUser Story DevelopmentAcceptance Criteria DefinitionSDLC & Software Delivery PracticesJira, Confluence, Azure DevOpsIntegration & API AnalysisReference Data ManagementRoot Cause AnalysisStakeholder ManagementWorkshop FacilitationTesting & Validation SupportAI-Assisted Analysis ToolsLegacy System Reverse EngineeringKey CompetenciesWe are seeking a professional who demonstrates:Analytical Thinking & Problem SolvingStrong Business AcumenStakeholder Influence & Facilitation SkillsExcellent Written & Verbal CommunicationPlanning & Organizing ExcellenceContinuous Improvement MindsetAdaptability & Learning AgilityAttention to DetailCollaboration & TeamworkTechnical Curiosity & Innovation
