Business Analyst

We’re looking for a Business Analyst with a Product Owner mindset who can take ownership of product requirements, work closely with engineering teams, and drive product development from ideation to delivery.This role requires someone who understands business needs, thinks from a product perspective, and can translate requirements into clear priorities and actionable development tasks.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and manage product requirements, user stories, and product backlogs.Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and define product requirements.Collaborate with engineering and design teams to drive product development.Prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on business impact and customer needs.Define product workflows, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and product reviews.Coordinate with development and QA teams to ensure timely and quality product delivery.Analyze user feedback and product performance to identify improvement opportunities.Ensure alignment between business objectives, product priorities, and technical execution.Requirements2–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Associate Product Owner, or similar role.Prior experience in a product-based company is mandatory, preferably in a SaaS environment.Strong understanding of product development and software lifecycle.Experience writing user stories, defining requirements, and managing product backlogs.Ability to work closely with product, engineering, and business teams.Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.Consistent employment history with minimal job switches.Good to HaveExperience working on accounting, finance, fintech, or financial software products.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and product management tools.Understanding of SQL, APIs, and software workflows.Ideal Candidate: Someone who goes beyond traditional business analysis and thinks like a Product Owner takes ownership, understands customer and business needs, prioritizes effectively, and works closely with engineering teams to build and improve products.Note: We are prioritizing candidates with prior product-based/SaaS company experience.📍 Location: Ahmedabad | On-site***Note: You can also share your CV at roshni.chaudhary@appventory.com
