Business Analyst (Fintech | trading | Wealth management)

Our client is a fast-growing financial technology firm providing digital investment and wealth management solutions to financial institutions across Asia-Pacific and global markets. With offices in multiple major financial hubs, the company supports wealth managers, asset managers, and financial platforms in building and delivering scalable investment solutions through modern, API-enabled technology.You will be joining a lean and collaborative team where your work will have direct visibility across product, engineering, and client delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Business Analyst who wants to gain broad exposure across digital wealth, trading workflows, portfolio solutions, system implementation, and product development.ResponsibilitiesGather, analyse, and clarify business needs from clients and internal stakeholders, converting them into clear functional and technical requirements.Prepare structured documentation, including user stories, process flows, data mapping, and system specifications.Work closely with product, engineering, implementation, and client-facing teams to support end-to-end solution delivery.Support testing activities, including test case preparation, issue investigation, UAT coordination, and defect tracking.Assist with data and integration-related tasks, including API flows, data validation, and troubleshooting.Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams, ensuring requirements are well understood and deliverables meet business objectives.Take ownership of assigned features or projects from requirement discovery through delivery and post-implementation support.Requirements3–5 years of Business Analyst experience within financial services, fintech, wealth management, investment, or trading-related environments.Understanding of wealth management, portfolio management, order management, trade lifecycle, or investment platform concepts.Strong analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex business problems into structured requirements.Comfortable working with data using tools such as SQL, JSON, Excel, or similar analysis methods.Experience translating business requirements into system specifications for technical teams.Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both business stakeholders and technology teams.Hands-on approach to testing, issue investigation, and delivery coordination.Knowledge of Python, PowerShell, or another scripting language would be advantageous; fluency in English is required.
