Business Analyst - freelance opportunity

Are you an experienced Business Analyst looking to contribute to large-scale enterprise systems supporting critical operational activities across Europe?We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support the continuous evolution of OPERA EVO, a mission-critical platform managing operational activities, HR resource pools, technical equipment, deployments, financial processes, reporting, geospatial visualisations, and integrations with multiple enterprise systems.What You'll Do?✅ Analyse and validate business requirements and change requests✅ Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories✅ Collaborate with stakeholders and development teams on system enhancements✅ Support software releases throughout the product lifecycle✅ Model business processes and contribute to enterprise system improvements✅ Work on integrations involving HR, financial, operational and data management platformsRequirements:✔ Minimum 8 years of IT professional experience✔ Minimum 5 years of Business Analysis experience✔ At least 3 years as a BA on large-scale systems with development teams of 10+ developers✔ University degree ✔ English C1 level✔ Minimum two recognised certifications such as:CBAPCertified UML ProfessionalBPMN/BPM2 CertificationEquivalent internationally recognised certificationsNice to Have:➕ BPMN and UML modelling expertise➕ Experience with Sparx Enterprise Architect, ARIS, or similar tools➕ SQL and data analysis knowledge➕ Experience in HR, asset management, finance, grants, or enterprise integrations➕ Full software development lifecycle experienceContract Details:📍 Long-term freelance engagement / nearsite📅 Initial 12-month contract (220 man-days)📈 Potential extensions up to 42 months total (770 man-days)🌍 International and highly collaborative environmentIf you are a seasoned Business Analyst with strong enterprise systems experience and a passion for transforming business needs into impactful digital solutions, we'd love to hear from you!
