Business Analyst (Insurance)

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support our client, a multinational insurance firm, with insurance business and transformation initiatives. The role will work closely with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements, analyze business processes, and support technical solution design. This role is more focused towards insurance business.ResponsibilitiesDemonstrated experience in business analysis, including requirements elicitation, documentation, and business stakeholder engagement in insurance.Proficiency in capturing and managing business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for technology and operational initiatives.Review and understand current business processes and find ways to improve them, make them more efficient, or automate them.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Collaborate with technical teams to convert business needs into functional requirements.Help with user testing activities including planning, test case preparation, running tests, handling issues, and getting business approval.Knowledge of insurance domain, policy administration, claims, or underwriting processes is highly beneficial.Familiarity with project methods (e.g., Agile or hybrid delivery), and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or equivalent field.Minimum 5 years of experience working in insurance industry as a business analyst.Experience with gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, managing stakeholders, and running user testing.Strong skills in analyzing problems, solving issues, and making decisions. Experience with insurance business, especially Underwriting, Policy Servicing, and Claims (preferred).Fluent in English with strong communication skills (Cantonese/Mandarin is a plus)
