Business Analyst (IT / Software Projects)

Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support the delivery of enterprise IT and software projects. The role will work closely with business users, technical teams and other stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear system requirements.The successful candidate should have strong hands-on experience in requirements gathering and requirements engineering, preferably involving enterprise bespoke or custom-built systems.Key ResponsibilitiesEngage business users and key stakeholders to understand business needs, challenges and system requirements.Conduct requirement gathering sessions, workshops and stakeholder discussions.Analyse business requirements and translate them into clear functional and non-functional system specifications.Develop and maintain user stories, business requirements and other functional documentation.Review existing business processes and identify opportunities for system or process improvements.Work closely with technical teams to ensure business requirements are clearly understood and correctly translated into system solutions.Use process and system modelling techniques such as UML and BPMN to document workflows and requirements.Support requirements validation throughout the system development lifecycle.Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test preparation, issue tracking and validation of delivered solutions.Support solution implementation and ensure requirements are addressed during project delivery.Manage requirement changes and maintain proper traceability throughout the project lifecycle.Facilitate communication between business users, project teams and technical stakeholders.Identify requirement-related issues and work with relevant teams to resolve them.Maintain accurate and up-to-date project and requirements documentation.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Information Systems or a related discipline.Proven hands-on experience as a Business Analyst within IT or software projects.Strong experience in business requirements gathering and requirements engineering.Experience working with enterprise bespoke/custom-built systems or similar software environments.Able to translate business requirements into functional requirements, non-functional requirements and user stories.Strong stakeholder engagement and requirements facilitation skills.Experience supporting UAT, system implementation and requirements/change management.Good understanding of Agile and/or Waterfall SDLC methodologies.Working knowledge of UML and BPMN.Working knowledge of SQL and Microsoft Excel.Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation and communication skills.Able to manage multiple stakeholders and work effectively with both business and technical teams.Advantageous SkillsExperience with Power BI or Tableau.Exposure to Python or R for data analysis or related activities.Please send your detailed resume in MS Word format to resume@goldtecHRs.com withEducation LevelWorking experiencesEach employment backgroundReason for leaving each employmentLast drawn salaryExpected salaryDate of availability
