Role Summary

Business Analyst (KYC) is responsible for bridging business, compliance, and technology teams to deliver strategic KYC and regulatory platforms. The role requires strong domain expertise, experience operating in Agile environments, and ownership of end-to-end requirements lifecycle—from ideation to implementation and UAT.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements ManagementLead end-to-end requirements lifecycle including BRD, FRD, user stories, and functional specificationsTranslate regulatory and business requirements into clear, actionable deliverablesConduct stakeholder workshops, requirement elicitation sessions, and discussionsEnsure traceability across business requirements, functional design, and delivery artifactsKYC / Compliance Domain DeliveryDrive initiatives across KYC, AML, Sanctions Screening, and Client Onboarding platformsInterpret regulatory requirements and ensure alignment with global compliance standardsCollaborate with Operations, Compliance, and Technology teams to deliver robust solutionsAgile Delivery & ExecutionWork within an Agile operating model (Scrum / SAFe) to support iterative deliveryDefine and manage user stories, acceptance criteria, backlog prioritizationPartner with Product Owners and Engineering teams for sprint planning and executionTesting & UAT GovernanceDefine UAT strategy, test scenarios, and test cases aligned with business requirementsSupport execution of UAT cycles, defect management, and production readinessEnsure high quality and compliance of delivered solutionsStakeholder & Change ManagementEngage with global stakeholders across Technology, Business, Compliance, and OperationsAct as a liaison between business users and technical teamsDrive change adoption and ensure business readiness for new implementationsQualifications12+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in BFSI or investment banking Strong expertise in: BRD, FRD, UAT, Agile delivery frameworksRequirements lifecycle management and stakeholder engagementDeep domain knowledge in: Investment BankingKYC / Client OnboardingAML & Sanctions ComplianceHands-on experience in Agile / Scrum delivery models Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or relevant certifications preferredOrganization Overview:Mizuho Global Services (MGS), Pune is an integral part of Mizuho Financial Group, one of the world’s leading financial institutions with a strong global presence across the Americas, EMEA, and Asia.
