As the company strengthens its position across the Kingdom’s retail landscape, we are seeking a commercially strong and results-driven Key Account Manager to own, grow, and develop our business with major Modern Trade retail partners. ROLE OVERVIEWReporting directly to the Chief Sales Officer (CSO), the Business Analyst — Sales & Commercial transforms complex commercial data into clear, actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across all six sales channels — Modern Trade, Wholesale, Van Operations, International Markets, E-Commerce, and Sales Transformation & Systems. The role is the analytical backbone of the commercial function, enabling the CSO and senior leadership to act faster and with greater confidence.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Commercial Performance Reporting & DashboardingDesign, build, and own the commercial performance reporting framework across all six sales channels (Modern Trade, Wholesale, Van Operations, International Markets, E-Commerce, and Sales Transformation).Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance dashboards tracking volume, value, distribution, and channel health metrics.Prepare the Monthly Business Review (MBR) and Quarterly Business Review (QBR) commercial packs for the CSO and CEO, with clear performance narratives and variance commentary.Automate recurring reports to eliminate manual effort and ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reporting outputs.Ensure all commercial reporting is available to senior leadership in a timely manner, within agreed service level timelines.2. Sales Analytics & Deep-Dive InsightsConduct deep-dive analyses on sales trends, channel performance, SKU contribution, customer segmentation, and market share movements.Identify commercial performance gaps, root causes, and emerging risks across channels, geographies, and product portfolios.Analyze distributor, customer, and channel productivity to surface opportunities for growth and efficiency improvement.Build scenario models and sensitivity analyses to support commercial decision-making, including pricing evaluations, promotional ROI, and route-to-market assessments.3. Forecasting & Business Planning SupportSupport the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process by providing accurate, data-driven demand signals and channel-level volume forecasts.Assist in the development of the annual commercial operating plan (AOP), bottom-up budgets, and phased sales targets by channel, category, and geography.Track forecast accuracy at channel and category level, and work with commercial teams to reduce bias and improve planning precision.Provide analytical support for new product introduction planning, including market sizing, cannibalization assessment, and launch performance tracking.4. Commercial Projects & Transformation SupportProvide analytical support to sales transformation initiatives, including route-to-market redesign, van sales optimization, and channel investment reallocation.Support the evaluation of partnership and distribution opportunities (new third-party brands, new market entries) through financial modelling and commercial due diligence.Assist in building business cases for commercial investment decisions, including trade terms, customer agreements, and channel-specific promotional plans.Collaborate with the IT, Finance, and Supply Chain functions to improve data infrastructure, ERP reporting quality, and commercial system capabilities.Act as the data and analytics liaison between the Sales Division and other functions, ensuring consistent commercial definitions, metrics, and reporting standards.5. Stakeholder Management & CommunicationTranslate complex data outputs into concise, boardroom-ready presentations and executive summaries for the CSO and CEO.Present findings and recommendations with clarity and confidence to senior commercial leadership, flagging risks and opportunities proactively.Build strong working relationships with channel heads, finance business partners, and marketing teams to ensure integrated, cross-functional analytical outputs.Respond to ad-hoc analytical requests from the CSO and commercial leadership with speed, accuracy, and appropriate depth of insight.KEY REQUIREMENTS1. Experience:4–7 years in commercial analytics, business intelligence, or financial analysis - FMCG or Consumer Goods preferred.KSA or GCC market experience preferred.2.
Technical Skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint (non-negotiable).BI/visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent); ERP familiarity (SAP preferred).Strong data modelling and forecasting skills; SQL or Python is a plus.3. Commercial Acumen:Solid understanding of FMCG commercial fundamentals - channel dynamics, trade spending, distribution metrics, and promotional mechanics.Experience supporting MBR/QBR packs, demand planning, or AOP processes is a strong advantage.4.
