Business Analyst (Software/ Applications) | Technology Consulting

We are looking for a proactive "Business Analyst" to join our client's dynamic team. You will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical implementation. The primary scope involves the analysis, documentation, and translation of user requirements into feasible and effective technical specifications, ensuring alignment with overall system architecture and business objectives.Responsibilities:Requirements Gathering: Collaborate closely with cross-functional business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into functional specifications and user stories.Bridge the Gap: Serve as the strategic liaison between business units, product managers, and technical development teams to ensure complete alignment on project scope, goals, and deliverables.Project Lifecycle Support: Lead the front end of the project lifecycle and provide continuous support through QA, UAT (User Acceptance Testing) coordination, and final system validation.Agile Delivery: Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, manage the product backlog, and define clear acceptance criteria for development teams.Validation & Testing: Collaborate with QA teams to define test plans and ensure that delivered solutions successfully meet the documented business requirements.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience as a System Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role.Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.Proficiency in requirements management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)Fluency in Cantonese is required.
