Business Analytics Manager

I'm currently working with a leading global maritime and shipping services organisation that is looking to hire a Business Manager to sit at the centre of its data transformation strategy and help drive smarter, more data-driven decision making across the business.The position sits between the Analytics function and the wider business, partnering closely with commercial, operations, finance and corporate leadership teams to identify inefficiencies, challenge legacy ways of working and deliver solutions that genuinely change how the organisation operates.📊 From replacing manual spreadsheets and fragmented processes to introducing self-service analytics, automation and AI-enabled tools, you'll be responsible for turning data into practical business outcomes. This is a highly visible role where you'll be expected to challenge the status quo, influence senior stakeholders and lead divisions towards more efficient, scalable and insight-driven ways of working.💰 Base Salary: Between £150,000 - £200,000 + Bonus + Benefits📍 Location: London - this is five days a week in the office You'll be working in a business that operates in a fast-paced global environment, where timely data, operational visibility and commercial insight are critical to success.🚀 What You'll Be DoingPartnering with business leaders to understand operational challenges and identify opportunities for improvementBuilding business cases for change supported by data and measurable outcomesDesigning and delivering Power BI dashboards, reporting suites and self-service analytics solutionsDeveloping analytical models to support planning, forecasting and operational performanceEmbedding AI tools into analytics workflows to improve productivity and decision-makingLeading and developing a growing Business Analytics team🧠 What They're Looking For5+ years' experience within Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics or Management Information functionsStrong experience delivering Power BI dashboards and analytics solutions that have driven measurable business improvementProven ability to challenge existing processes and successfully lead change initiativesAdvanced Power BI skills including DAX and data modellingExperience utilising AI tools within analytics or business workflowsPrevious team leadership or people management experienceIf you are interested or know someone else who may be interested please reply with your CV or email me directly at shabana@virtuetech.io
