Business and Operations Intern

Send (Singapore Food Delivery Startup)Send is a peer-to-peer food delivery platform supporting hawkers and local merchants. We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented intern to support stakeholders acquisition, onboarding, and day-to-day operational coordination.This is a hands-on role. You’ll work closely with the merchant acquisition and operations team to drive outreach, improve processes, and support real business growth across Singapore.Duration: 5-6 monthsWhat You'll Be Doing1) Resolution Handling & Operational SupportHandle merchant and stakeholder inquiries in real timeTroubleshoot operational issues and identify root causesCoordinate cross-team follow-ups to ensure timely resolutionTrack cases until closure and maintain proper documentationTrain and fine-tune in-house AI chatbot to maximise operational accuracy2) Merchant Onboarding & Platform SetupAssist with menu uploads and system configurationGuide merchants through onboarding workflowsEnsure accurate documentation and tracking of onboarding progress3) Data & Growth SupportAnalyse operational data using Excel and internal toolsMaintain tracking sheets for merchant performance and onboarding progressAssist in identifying simple growth improvement opportunities4) On-Ground SupportParticipate in merchant visits and activations where requiredSupport campaign or event execution when neededWhat We're Looking ForCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Business Analytics, or a related disciplinePreferably final year undergraduate studentsComfortable working in a fast-paced startup environmentStrong attention to detail and organised in executionConfident communicating with merchants and stakeholdersComfortable using Excel and Google WorkspaceBonus: Interest in startups or business growth strategyWhat You'll GainReal startup exposure - not just shadowing, actual executionHands-on merchant acquisition and onboarding experienceDirect experience in operational troubleshooting and resolution handlingUnderstanding of how business development, product, and operations intersectExposure to real stakeholder communication and issue managementPortfolio-worthy projects and measurable business impact
