Business Application Analyst / Functional Analyst

Job DescriptionProvide on-going application support and be involved in various stages of the SDLCConduct user requirement gathering for new systems and/or enhancements to existing systems/solutionsConduct user requirement analysis for the development / implementation of new systems and enhancements to existing systemsPerform documentation of requirements and new process/workflows for the developed solutionsPerform functional analysis of new systems and enhancements to existing systemsInvolvement in the various testing phases prior to implementation, including but not limited to developing test plans and cases, conducting testing and verifying test results and following up on issues to resolutionPlan and coordinate end-user training for any system implementations or enhancementsLiaise closely with business users and build good rapport particularly in the area of defining IT processes, organizations and workflow relationships to complement the solutionSupport the team in defining project requirements, tracking and documentation of project progress with respect to time, resources, budget and demonstrated resultsIdentify, facilitate and ensure cross functional resource support for projects.Participate and support Request for Proposal (RFP) for projects with the ManagerRequirements: Minimum 3 years of experience in developing, implementing and maintaining IT systemsSuccessful track record in project management, user and vendor managementExperience in MS Windows environment & application supportExperience in Database management systems (SQL, Oracle)Strong analytical skills and ability to work independentlyExperience in healthcare industry is an added advantageDegree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
