Location: Melbourne, VICEmployment Type: Full-timeWorking Rights: Applicants must have full/unrestricted working rights in Australia.About the RoleWe are seeking a highly organised, proactive and detail-oriented Business Assistant to support our management team and contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of the business.This role would suit someone who is confident managing multiple priorities, coordinating with different stakeholders and working independently in a fast-paced business environment.Mandarin language skills are highly desirable for this position, as the role involves regular communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive administrative and business support to the management team, including calendar management, meeting coordination and travel arrangements.Assist with the planning, coordination and delivery of business projects and initiatives.Track project timelines, deliverables and key milestones to ensure activities remain on schedule.Coordinate communication with internal and external stakeholders and provide updates on project progress.Organise and attend meetings, prepare agendas where required, take meeting notes and distribute minutes and action items.Assist with the implementation and ongoing improvement of business processes, policies and procedures.Prepare documents, reports, presentations and other business correspondence as required.Maintain accurate records and assist with general office and business administration.Support the management team with ad hoc tasks, research and special projects as required.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Previous experience in a business administration, executive support, office administration or business support role.Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.The ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with others.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.The ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.Experience using project management or business systems would be advantageous.Mandarin language skills are highly desirable, particularly where you have experience communicating with Mandarin-speaking clients, suppliers or business stakeholders.A relevant tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Management or a related discipline would be advantageous but is not essential where equivalent relevant experience can be demonstrated.Applicants must have full and unrestricted working rights in Australia for the duration of employment.What We OfferCompetitive salary package.Opportunities for professional development and career growth.A collaborative and supportive working environment.Exposure to a broad range of business operations and strategic initiatives.The opportunity to work closely with the management team and contribute to business projects and improvements.
